NEW YORK (STATI UNITI) (ITALPRESS) - "Il presidente Trump è disposto a parlare con chiunque, oppure a inviare i suoi rappresentanti a parlare con chiunque.

00:03We have had some conversations, this administration has, you know President Trump will talk to
00:10anyone or send his folks to talk to anyone who puts a diplomacy first position, but things
00:19have to change on that island. The people are suffering. The only thing equal about communism
00:26is everyone is equally poor and miserable. It has never worked, it does not work, and it will not
00:33work, and it clearly is not working in the island of Cuba, which once was, I'm a native Floridian,
00:39was flourishing in so many ways. The wealth and future of that country has been destroyed by its
00:46own government, and it uses this body to try to deflect who's ultimately responsible, and what
00:52was so important to us here, we had Jose and several other political prisoners, including
00:59think tank experts here last week. We want the diplomats here on the broad stage here directly
01:05from the people, not from the regime representatives here, and you saw their behavior just yesterday.
01:11I've just about the communication between you, the U.S. part, and the European Union, European
01:18countries on this issue, because they've been voting a, you know, opposite side. So do you have
01:26any news about it?
01:27We also want European countries to hear where the Cuban mercenaries that have been recruited
01:33to go fight in Ukraine. That's also an important part of this story, particularly for the Europeans.
01:41But at the end of the day, this is about basic decency, freedom, democracy, and human rights
01:47that have been abused for so many decades. Again, I live with a Cuban American population
01:54in Florida. I know these stories firsthand. People that are still in touch with their relatives
02:02on the island that are suffering day in and day out. This is about educating you all and the
02:07the diplomatic community here on the corruption, the slave labor, and the abuses of this issue.
