01:27I am so proud of what you all have accomplished in this last year.
01:32This is ground zero for the fight and the whole world is watching you.

01:42Listen, what we are hearing all across the state is people want change.

02:26And I will tell you this week we've had some developments in that fight because a judge ruled in my
02:35favor in Travis County.
02:43Yesterday, yesterday that I deserved to receive the 100 redacted emails between Greg Abbott and Elon Musk.
02:55This is the kind of things as a legislator I get all the time as a matter of routine, not
03:07this time.
03:08Greg Abbott said no.
03:09He said these emails were, quote, intimate and embarrassing.
03:19I think, I think Greg Abbott's embarrassed that they're going to show him.
03:23He sold us out.
03:24That's what those emails are going to show because here's what we already know.
03:30What we already know is that Elon Musk is Greg Abbott's largest campaign contributor.
03:37He is Greg Abbott's largest donor.
03:42He has given Greg Abbott five million dollars just for this election.
03:50And let me tell you what he's received for his money.
03:54We know that he's received one point seven billion dollars in property tax breaks, property taxes that last time I
04:04checked the rest of us pay full price on.

04:07And yes, more because they have increased 85% under Greg Abbott.
04:15Greg Abbott redirected a 100 million dollar broadband contract to Elon Musk.
04:23A move so corrupt that even the Republican officials in Austin said we got to shut this whole broadband program
04:32down because this stinks even for us.

04:38And we just learned a couple of weeks ago in breaking news, a draft agenda for a Texas Parks and
04:46Wildlife meeting that was going to happen two days after the election.
04:50All Abbott appointees to sell our beach in South Texas to Elon Musk.
05:01Boca Chica Beach, our beaches are protected in our state constitution as being free and open to the people of
05:10Texas because they are our beaches.
05:13They belong to us.
05:16But there is nothing that Greg Abbott won't sell out because he is the most corrupt governor in all of
05:22Texas history.
05:24The reason why we pay more and we get less is because we're all paying the Greg Abbott corruption tax.
05:33The Greg Abbott corruption tax is why our schools are shutting down in Fort Worth and all over this state
05:40because he sold out our schools with his voucher scam.
05:44He took a billion dollars to get to unaccountable private schools after receiving 12 million dollars from an out-of
05:51-state billionaire.

05:58The Greg Abbott corruption tax.
06:02This is why our electricity bills have skyrocketed.

06:18Until they could make billions of dollars in record profits and we are all paying for it now with crazy

06:34Let's talk about data centers.
06:41Greg Abbott invited the data centers into Texas with the richest tax breaks in the whole country.
06:47They pay no sales tax on the electricity they consume for 20 years.
06:54We're losing over a billion dollars in this state.
06:57Money that the rest of us have to pay for, right?

07:01Because he invited them in and there are no protections for the people of Texas.
07:06No laws, no regulations to protect us.
07:10That's an example of the what?
07:12The Greg Abbott corruption tax.
07:15Of course, he lies about it.
07:16He says he's paused approvals only to learn that over 30 data centers approved data center approvals have already been
07:25approved since he said they were paused.
07:28Yeah, but we knew we know that talk is cheap and that's all he does.
07:35He does nothing to deliver for the people of Texas.
07:39And he will not because he's received $22 million from data center interests.
07:50It is why this man lies about me.
07:53He has spent $180 million in lies about me on TV.

07:59You might have seen him.
08:01For the record, I have never not once supported an income tax and I never will.
08:08And frankly, I don't know of a single elected official in Texas in that I have ever met who does.

08:17Greg Abbott does not believe I support an income tax either.
08:21I have never not once voted to increase property taxes.
08:25The only person who has done that in this race is Greg Abbott.
08:29Because he took over Houston ISD.
08:32He installed his board of managers there.
08:36And after the community voted down the bond, because no trust, no bond, it did not vote for it.
08:45The board of managers that was appointed by the state increased property taxes declaring an emergency.
08:54In violation of our state constitution, which prohibits a state property tax and it is taxation without representation.
09:05Why do you think he is taking over school district after school district after school district?
09:12Follow the money.
09:18And so, look, what we are seeing across the state is people are angry.

09:28That is why Greg Abbott is running from the voters.

10:32People who have never voted are showing up and they are voting early.
10:43And they are here today because they want change.
10:48And let me tell you, on November 3rd, we will end Greg Abbott's 30-year political career.
11:06We will take on entrenched, the entrenched incumbency of Greg Abbott.
11:12We will take on the biggest money in the country and we will win.
11:23And when I am governor, my plan is to secure the American dream.
11:39The American dream that was the promise of this country and absolutely of this state where if you worked hard,
11:46you could have a good life.

12:35We save Texas public schools because they're important to our kids, our communities, but they are essential to the American

12:42They can be no American dream without strong public schools.
12:51Our public schools are the gateway to the American dream.

12:56They provide the opportunity to the American dream.
12:59Our public schools tell every Texas child you can be anything you want to be if you work hard.

13:06And our public schools are just barely hanging on.
13:12Our Texas public schools are who we are.
13:15They are Friday night lights.

13:18They are the largest employer in so many of our counties.
13:23They are enshrined in our Texas constitution as being essential to the preservation of our liberties.

13:31I want you to make some noise if you're a proud product of Texas public schools.
13:47And so, when I am governor, on day one I will fire Mike Morath, the Texas Education Agency.
14:07What are y'all drinking out there?
14:09I just want to know where it is.
14:11I will fire Mike Morath and put an educator in the position of education commissioner.
14:21I will wipe clean Greg Gavitt's corrupt vendor contracts and use that money to pay our teachers to be amongst
14:27the highest paid in the nation.
14:35I will pause the rigged A through F accountability system that is being used to take over our schools and
14:43our school districts.
14:48It is based on a deeply flawed and rigged star test that nobody supports.
14:58Listen, I have a child in public school.
15:00I crave accountability for his education and for all our kids' education.
15:05But we need true objective accountability, not rigged accountability.
15:14And I will return the school district of Fort Worth back to the people of Fort Worth.
15:43So listen, listen, I know y'all are struggling in a big way in this community.
15:48I know your public schools just have been a source of heartbreak lately.
15:53I know what you're going through.
15:56I want you to raise your hand if you are a teacher or you work on a campus.
16:02If you're part of a school community, please raise your hand.
16:05Please give these people a round of applause.
16:12I know it's been really hard.
16:14I know it's been really hard for you.
16:17And please know that help is on the way.
16:25We will secure the American dream by saving Texas public schools and putting money in your pocket,
16:30and I mean real money in your pocket, $1,500 to every Texas household.

16:48Unlike Trump's plan, we have the money.
16:50Greg Abbott's been hoarding it in Austin.
16:52We never had so much money being hoarded in Austin.
16:55We're just going to send it back to the people.

17:05I will suspend gas and diesel taxes in this state because gas prices are too damn high.
17:16And we can no longer wait for Washington to save us.
17:21That help is not coming.
17:24I will freeze electricity rates and make sure the corporations, including those data centers, pay their fair share.
17:35And while we're talking about the data centers, let me tell you what my position is on that.
17:41What about the water that they eat?
17:44These data centers have come into our communities and people have no say.
17:48The people of Texas need a seat at the table to decide if and how these data centers come into
17:55our communities.
17:58When I am governor, I will ban any new approvals, a moratorium until we pass laws to do just that
18:06and protect the people of Texas.
18:12I will ensure every Texas child has quality health care because we have the most children without health insurance of
18:20any state in America.
18:22In this state where we are so wealthy, we have the money to take care of our children.
18:29And when I am governor, we will.
18:36And for those of us, we pay more and more and more for our health insurance.
18:40And it's harder and harder to get the medication we need, see the doctors we need to see, get the
18:46procedures done that we need.
18:47I will ban those bad faith denials in the state of Texas because we are not asking for handouts.
18:58We're asking for what we already paid for.
19:02We're asking for what we already worked for.
19:06Because Texas is a world economic powerhouse and it's the people of Texas who built that power.
19:16But the thing about power is that nobody's going to give it to us.
19:20Nobody knows that better than y'all.
19:24We got to take it back.
