00:50everything you've learned about surviving dune on its head heat is now your greatest
00:55ally it launches december 1st free for all players on all platforms your journey begins in the tundra
01:03a harsh new environment the technology you've built so far has been focused on working in extreme heat
01:10but to survive the cold you'll need to upgrade this brings the action back to the ground level how you
01:19travel manage temperature and fight will be key to your progress you'll need resources found only in
01:30the polar cap if you hope to craft new survival gear the tundra is more habitable than the ice cap
01:38but
01:39that doesn't mean you're welcome this is where the wealthy water shipper families have set up their
01:44lavish strongholds and they don't want competition but this is just the first biome the water shipper
01:52family's most prized territory is the ice cap itself it is heavily guarded and getting in will be one of
01:58your main goals once you're inside survival is not easy but the rewards are worth it
02:11you already know how important water is to survive on arrakis here you can harvest it as ice and use
02:18it to cool your base equipment speeding up production this is pivotal because we're also releasing new
02:24vehicle modules new augments and specialization traits in this free expansion the polar cap has around 35
02:31hours of progression you can return for more ice and future updates will give you more reasons to come
02:37back a lot of care has gone into creating a new expansion to arrakis and we're excited to see
02:42you take your first steps on the tundra and ice cap we want to keep this and future updates free

02:57new cosmetic store you'll find new outfits vehicle variants and more ways to customize your bases selling these

03:09cosmetic store will start with rotating items and to celebrate the release of dune part 3 in december we are

03:16items taken directly from the films as the store grows we'll make the full back catalogue available so you can

03:28we're also expanding our in-game events right now the scourge is live you'll investigate a disease spreading
03:36across arrakis and shortly after the blood and ice expansion launches we will release a new event called
03:43the water crisis there you'll fight for scarce water supplies and work to end the shortage these are our biggest
03:52events
03:52yet they include new gameplay and even new locations in the future we'd like to do more events giving you
03:59more reasons to keep coming back to arrakis they will feature unique stories as well as free rewards
04:06with the blood and ice expansion we're releasing a new events tab in the in-game menu you will be

04:12to track your event progress and your rewards all events can be completed in single or multiplayer we're
04:20also working on your three most requested features which will make it easier than ever to jump into dune
04:25awakening offline mode for single player is coming this november copying characters from multiplayer
04:30servers to single player and full crossplay will be possible in january looking ahead we'll continue to
04:39build on dune awakening with free updates that introduce new experiences and features alongside these
04:45releases expect new events with new stories and rewards and you can continue to expect regular
