It's all or nothing in my quest for a Strava King of the Mountain. I'm showcasing how I use tech, like this portable electric pump, to optimize my setup for a top-speed effort. Come along for the ride!

00:00Come with me to try and get a Strava KOM. Let's go! Tomorrow I have to give up this very
00:06fancy
00:07setup, I have to send it back. So basically I've got one attempt to try and make it count,
00:12to try and get this Strava KOM. And to do so I think I'm going to need to pull out
00:18all the stops because I don't know if fitness alone is going to be enough. So I've got the kit
00:22and one other thing that I'm going to be paying close attention to is my tyre pressures because
00:27the wrong tyre pressures can really mess up even the best setups out there. Over the last few weeks
00:34I've been fettling with my tyre pressures and to do that I wanted to bring a gauge with me
00:39on my rides. And then I thought, hang on, would a mini electric pump not tell me my tyre pressures
00:46and allow me to change them on the fly? And so I've been using this, this is the SKS electric
00:51mini pump. It can pump up to 120 psi, you can get three road tyres out of it, it's got
00:57a 500 milliamp
00:58power battery and it can do Presta or Schrader by basically doing that. So I reckon for this effort
01:06I'm going to be using around 22 psi. And when it gets to the pressure it automatically stops.
01:14So I guess I'm going to go and get on with it.
01:22Ah, I gave that everything. Ah, it's up load. See if it's enough.
