00:18Today we are trying gold leaf makeup.
00:21What is gold leaf makeup?
00:23So it's not the newest thing on the market and you've probably seen it across your Instagram feed,
00:28all over social, everywhere.
00:30But it's really just this gold foil that is super versatile for your beauty routine and your makeup all around.
00:37You can do your eyes, your lips, your hair, and your nails.
00:39Well, I never settle for anything less than 24 carats.

00:50Excited to try it because it's so beautiful and shimmery and that's always fun,
00:54but I am not a makeup pro.

00:58I kind of have this vision of a smoky eye with some gold accents.

01:23So it's not the cheapest, but you want to make sure you're going with a 24 carat good quality,
01:28especially if you're putting it on your face.
01:30And I mean it seems here you get a lot for what it's worth and we'll see if it actually
01:35lasts once it's on our faces.
01:36But I really, I feel like in IRL, in real life, this would be good for like a festival look.
01:43Or even just like a summer kind of party type vibe.

02:20I've got my matte red lip that is going to serve as a really bright pop of color for the

02:27The hardest part of this is just figuring out how to do this smokey eye.

03:15I really do feel like we may not be the most makeup savvy people, but this is really freaking hard.

03:22I think the trick is here, you really cannot touch it with your fingers before you put it on your

03:28I feel like maybe a better method for us would have been using something like tweezers.
03:32I've tried so many things on Test Lab and I can say without hesitation that this is the most epic
03:38fail that I've ever experienced.
