00:00What's really exciting about this season is that it's five years forward.
00:04So if you've watched the show, you've seen the girls in high school for a very long time.
00:09So the girls have actually grown up a bit.
00:12You don't see them for five years.
00:13They come back seemingly living in a free life.
00:16And so you get to find out where they've been, what city they've been in, what schools they've
00:21gone to, what careers they've chosen, if they're in relationships.
00:25So it's exciting.
00:26It's almost like a whole new show in a way.
00:27And one thing that Aria's learned in the last five years, this is kind of a tough question
00:33because she's always, at least all the girls, they've always seemingly kind of had it together.
00:39Aside from their life being in turmoil, they've somewhat, at least Aria, I think she's always
00:44known what she wanted to do.
00:45And that was one of the things I loved about the time jump is that she followed through
00:50with her creative aspirations.
00:52So if I had the opportunity to talk to myself five years ago, the beginning of PLL, I think
00:59I would tell myself to really live in the moment.
01:03I'm always thinking 10 steps ahead.
01:06I'm always thinking about the next day instead of just really soaking in everything.
01:11What haven't I learned in the past five years on the show, I've basically spent my twenties
01:17on PLL.
01:18You know, these people have become my family.
01:19So now we're nearing the end of the show and I'm kind of like having a freak out.
01:22So yeah, I mean, I guess it's made me learn to appreciate everything I've been given.
