00:00I'm a performer, I'm rehearsed, I'm a musician, I'm a writer, and maybe coming
00:07from a girl it's like, you know, it sounds naughty or crass or maybe I sound
00:13conceited, but I want my fans to know that you can be a female and you can make
00:16pop music and you can be an artist. You don't have to be embarrassed about being
00:20smart. You can be all those things. I feel like Gaga, you know, meaning this
00:28stronger individual person of myself that I discovered being young in New York
00:34loving music. I'm a true academic when it comes to music and when it comes to my
00:42style, my fashion, there's nothing that I've ever put on my body that I didn't
00:45understand where it came from, the reference of it, who inspired it. The reason
00:49that I'm here at all is because of my relationship with my family and their
00:55encouragement of me to be a musician.
