00:03Hi everyone, welcome back. Today's episode is going to be really fun because I have Jen and Olivia here from
00:10Two-Fold LA and they're going to help me fix my problematic area in the house which is this bookshelf.
00:16Take it in. It's a mess. This is totally fixable though, right? Totally. We'll get everything organized for you and
00:24it'll be looking great. Amazing. Let's get started.
00:54Oh my god, you guys. This looks amazing. Before it was really disgusting.
00:59Cluttered and unorganized. We always recommend taking all of your stuff off the bookcase and prioritizing what you want to
01:07keep and what you don't. Things that you want to keep that you maybe don't want to put on display.
01:11You can buy these great natural woven baskets. We also put baskets up on the top where you can store
01:17some of your other items that maybe you don't need to access every single day.
01:20Yeah, because I have tons of like products that I need to use up in the future. So this is
01:25like a great place to organize them all. Also, in order to sort of bring some dimension, we've placed a
01:31lot of the books vertically and horizontally that gives a great visual overall. And also we color coordinated most of
01:38our books.
01:39Here we've got the red, orange, yellow, green. What, it's like Roy G. Biv, right?
01:44Yeah, totally. But that just sort of gives it a little bit of an artistic detail to your bookcase.
01:49Then we wanted to make sure to display a lot of the items that you've already started to collect that
01:54were great. So you can use those on different shelves to break up the books.
01:58We found some of these decorative bookends at HomeGoods. We got this great Lucite J. You can use decorative bowls
02:05to put some of your statement jewelry.
02:08And then of course, make sure to display personal touches like framed photos. And then lastly, add a little bit
02:13of organic detail.
02:15It sort of livens up a bookcase. And obviously you've got greenery around. You just want to sort of bring
02:20the outside in.
02:21Seriously, I feel like those flowers have just like breathed new life to this shelf. It's beautiful. And it smells
02:26good. I can smell it from here. It's very fragrant.
