With festival season in full swing, the off-the-shoulders top has returned as one of the boho trend's MVPs. It does have one pitfall, though: getting that straight-across neckline to stay put, without having to sacrifice your magnificent moves when the crowd favorite storms the stage. In the video above, fashion features director Connie Wang shares a genius hack that stops the sleeves from popping up over sun-seeking shoulders. You just need two minutes, a few household items, and a summer-ready peasant top.

00:00Boho is a massive trend for the summer and my favorite way to do it is through
00:04an off-the-shoulder top but if you've done the trend before in the 70s and the
00:0790s early 2000s or even right now you know that if you have to move your arms
00:12even a little bit it goes from cute at Coachella to where is my milking cow so
00:18I actually have a really quick tip to ensure that your off-the-shoulder top
00:21actually stays off the shoulders using stuff that you can find in your junk drawer
00:25here's how you do it you're gonna need four average safety pins and two elastics
00:33I'm gonna use hair ties and they're the same kind because the fabric under my
00:36armpit actually feels better than a rubber band but it's totally up to you take
00:40two of the safety pins and attach it to one of the hair ties and then go towards
00:43the top of your top you're gonna look for places where it's easier to hide this
00:47safety pin so look for a seam or a piece of elastic or something affix it to the
00:52front and the back and do it for the other side and see it works now you can
00:59move around and be yourself without having to worry about fixing your
01:01shoulders all the time have a great off-the-shoulder summer
