00:02Today I'm super excited because we're going to be playing with three brand new palettes
00:06that I have been using a little bit this week, but haven't really taken a full dive into it yet.
00:11I am by no means a professional makeup artist, but I really like playing with new colors.
00:15So all of these palettes recently launched within the last month or so,
00:19and they all have a really similar color selection.
00:22And they're very pink, very purple, and it's really gorgeous.
00:26I'm going to try each one out, and I'm going to do a look with each of them
00:30that hopefully, if it turns out well, you'll want to recreate.
00:34I'm going to start with this palette by Huda Beauty.
00:37It's called the Desert Dusk Palette.
00:39It's made by Huda Catan.
00:40She's an amazing beauty entrepreneur, and this palette is beautiful.
00:45I've never seen a palette that has this kind of color selection in it before.
00:48It has this beautiful glitter shade, a bunch of heavier glitters, some shimmers, and a lot of matte shades.
00:54I swatched them for you so you guys can see all of the shades.
00:58They all swatch really beautifully.
01:00They feel really nice.
01:02So I'm a big fan of these peachy, warm colors,
01:06and I really like using them in the crease just to deepen things up in a very subtle way.
01:13So I just wanted to put a little bit of shadow here just as my transition shade
01:17before I get into any of the crazier colors.
01:20So I'm going to go and do it on the other eye now too.
01:24Now I'm going to go in with this saffron color.
01:29I'm going to put that in my outer corner to deepen it up a little bit.
01:33I'm going to put this purple amethyst color all over my lid.
01:42This is the twilight glitter.
01:45I'm going to tap it onto my lid.
01:46Now on top.
01:48Woo!
01:50Look how shiny that is.
01:56This is the final look.
01:58I have to say I'm pretty pleased with it.
02:01So the only downside of this palette is the price tag.
02:04It is $65 which is definitely on the expensive side for an eyeshadow palette.
02:09And it's definitely something I would recommend to someone who likes to play with color.
02:14If you like neutral palettes, you're probably not going to like this.
02:17So you should just definitely save your money.
02:20All right, we're going to move on to the next palette,
02:22which means I have to take this eyeshadow off and start over again.

02:27Next up is the Natasha Denona Lila palette.
02:31I have been patiently awaiting this one.
02:33It launched earlier this month and is the most expensive out of the bunch.
02:37It is $129.
02:40So opening it up, it has this plastic film that tells you what each of the colors are.
02:46It also keeps it from getting all the like colors everywhere.
02:49So smart.
02:51I think I'm going to go with the pinky purpley shades in this palette.
02:56Kind of similar to what I did with Huda, but more smoky.
03:01This beautiful pink shade right here all over the lid.
03:05There we go.
03:08And I'm extending it out in a kind of winged out shape.
03:13Now I'm going to blend the edges just a little bit with this
03:21taupe matte shade.
03:23I'm going to go in with this violet indigo-ish color that I'm very,
03:28very, very excited about.
03:30I'm going to dip into it a little bit.
03:31And I'm going to put this in my outer V.
03:36I'm going to bring the same two colors, the pink and the purple,
03:39on my lower lash line.
03:41When you're wearing an eyeshadow that's so pink or red,
03:44if you don't wear a lot of mascara, you kind of look like you have pink eye.
03:49So making sure you have a lot of black mascara on the top and bottom lashes will help.
03:54So look two done.
03:56Final thoughts on this palette.
03:58I like it.
03:59I think they're beautiful.
04:00But I will say $130 is expensive, I think, for any makeup item.
04:07If you're a professional makeup artist or if you just love collecting eyeshadow,
04:11I think this would be a great palette for you.
04:13If you're just like a normal eyeshadow user like I am, you might not necessarily need it.
04:18On to the next one.
04:19I'm going to take this off again.
04:21My eyes are going to be so raw after this, but I'm doing it for you guys.
04:27This is the She palette, Girl Power.
04:31And it is more subdued than the others, but definitely still in the rosy pink and purple palette.
04:38So the first two looks I did were admittedly a little bit on the dramatic side.
04:45But I think at this time I'm going to do a little bit of a more subdued look.
04:50This dusty rose shade all over my lid.
04:55I'm going to use this slightly lighter matte shade to blend out the pinks that I just put on my
05:00lid,
05:01just to make everything look a little bit more cohesive.
05:03And I'm going to use this gorgeous glittery shade.
05:08And it's a nice thing to put on your lid just to give it a little bit of extra oomph.
05:12I'm going to mix the pink shade and the pinky purple shade and put that under my lash line.
05:22Then instead of liner, I'm going to use an angled brush.
05:29And I'm going to dip into this purple color and mix it with this pinky purple.
05:34I'm going to use that as my liner.
05:38So honestly, for a day-to-day look, I would stop there and just put a lot of mascara on
05:45to define my eyes.
05:47So this is the final look.
05:49It is definitely simpler than the other two, but it's still kind of intense.
05:54Totally feel you if it's not for you, but I like it a lot.
05:57Final thoughts. For $16, I think it is an amazing buy.
06:01And what's cool about it is it has the matte shades, it has the pinks, it has the purples,
06:05and it even has the glittery shade, which I use all over my lid.
06:08It has that duochrome, shifty kind of shade that's kind of similar to some of the Huda palette shades.
06:1310 out of 10 would recommend to a friend.
06:16Playing with all of these eyeshadows today, I think I created some pretty cool looks, if I do say so
06:22myself.
