00:00Hi I'm Sam and this is Beauty and a Sam. Today we're talking about at-home gel
00:05manicures and if you're anything like me you probably go to salon a lot and you
00:08spend a ton of money on your nails. So today we're gonna show you two options
00:12on how to get the gel manicure at home for a fairly affordable price. On this
00:16hand I'll be using one you could find at the drugstore for a few dollars and on
00:20this hand I'll be trying this handy machine right here that will cost you a
00:24little extra but gives you salon quality finish. So let's get started. Before you
00:28put your polish on you want to make sure that your nails are filed and clean and
00:31ready to go. So I'm gonna start with the wet and wild one step wonder gel. I love
00:36this earth toned taupe shade and I'm just gonna go on and apply it in one sheer
00:41coat. So I went ahead and I did the first coat already and I'm just gonna wait and
00:47let it dry and then put on a second coat so it's super opaque. For most nail
00:51polishes even non gel and gel alike you want to make sure that you wait about a
00:56minute for each coat to dry. The next one is Jamboree Color Cure which is like
01:01having your own salon at home because it comes with a light and its own nail
01:04polish and today I'm gonna be using this one. So this one takes a little bit
01:09longer and all you have to do is put your first coat nail polish on and then
01:12pop it in the light for 90 seconds. You do that twice over and it only takes you
01:16about eight to ten minutes and then you're done.
01:27And that's it. Can you believe it? And don't worry about any mistakes because it
01:30comes off with regular nail polish remover.
01:35So there you have it. Two easy ways to get a gel manicure at home. Thanks so much
01:39for watching and we'll see you next time on Beauty News Zapp.
