00:00Hey guys, I'm Alyssia with IGN.
00:02With a Tomb Raider movie set to drop on March 16th,
00:05let's dive into why Lara Croft is still such an iconic action star.
00:09She's adventurous.
00:11Lara throws herself into the unknown,
00:13heading to the edges of the map to find out the truth about her father.
00:16She's rough around the edges.
00:18She's too stubborn to take her rightful place at Croft Holdings,
00:22because, you know, action heroes don't belong in Baudrillard.
00:25She's sharp.
00:26Lara knows to trust her instincts.
00:28Brilliant.
00:28Instincts that have been honed over years of study
00:31and solving puzzles with her father as a child.
00:33She's relatable.
00:35Lara's an action hero, but she's also human.
00:38She fights, she falls down, she gets hurt,
00:41but she gets right back up.
00:43She's a trailblazer.
00:45You shouldn't have come here.
00:46Don't tell Lara what she can and can't do.
00:49She's relentless, rebellious, and a complete badass.
00:53Those are just five reasons why Lara Croft is such a hero.
