00:04has been sentenced at Wrexham Magistrates Court
00:06for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.
00:11Leitao asked the victim her age, called her beautiful
00:14and tried to kiss her, despite her refusal,
00:17before touching her in an inappropriate way.
00:20The court ordered a 12-month custodial term,
00:23suspended for two years, added a 10-year sexual harm prevention order,
00:27a 10-year sex offender registration and a 10-year restraining order.
00:33Investigating Officer Anne Parry described the assault
00:35as a deeply distressing ordeal that left the young victim traumatised.
00:39She praised the girl's courage.
