00:31I love the look, but it is very tedious and you have to really get it right with
00:36the tackiness of the glue and making sure your hand is steady. I have never gotten
00:40eyelash extensions before and I figure if I'm gonna try it out, might as well go
00:46all the way and also get bottom lashes. I never really heard that that was a
00:50thing up until a few weeks ago, but I'm excited because I just feel like it's
00:53gonna enhance the entire look. I'm not wearing bottom lashes right now, but when
00:59I do get them, I completely love them. I feel like a black Barbie. Hello, my name

01:16customization. It's not a one size fit all. I've seen a lot of different eyelash
01:23extensions. Some look really great and natural and others, it's very obvious
01:27that they have extensions and I kind of want to lean towards like the very
01:32natural, seamless look. It may be a small thing, but this is definitely gonna
01:38change my life. So what sort of look you're going for today? I really want to
01:41have like bright, wide eyes. You know, I look really tired without mascara and so I
01:46want to just look very awake. I also want a natural look and I feel like bottom lashes
01:51will help that as well. I think that would be perfect for you considering your
01:54eyes are smaller over here. Turn sideways for me here. Okay, your natural lashes has
01:59like a nice lift to them, so we're gonna give you a nice soft curl. I find your
02:03bottom lashes to be super fine, so we don't want to create like too much weight
02:06on them. We're gonna go for shorter lashes. You're definitely gonna see them
02:10they're gonna be very visible and they're gonna compliment the top. Amazing.
02:18First we'll do a top lash application and then we'll do the bottoms.
02:44First, I use a medical grade tape and I pull the top lashes out of the way. This
02:49gives me visibility so I can see the application while I'm applying the bottom
02:53lashes. Then I cleanse the bottom lashes. Then I go ahead and prime the bottom lashes.
03:06And then I select what type of lashes I'm gonna use on her base on length. Next I use a
03:13tweezer
03:13to pick up a strand of lash. I hold the lash and I place the base of the lash into
03:19the clear
03:19adhesive. Then I attach the actual extension to the natural lash.
03:34For the bottom lashes, this is done anywhere from 30 to 40 times per eye, from the outer
03:39end going all the way inner. We've been doing bottom lashes here at Envy's Lashes for about
03:46five years. People are just not aware of them, but once they found out about them, they are
03:49just all for it. The result gives a look a more finished look and it complements the top,
03:58making the eyes appear more wide and open. I definitely would recommend bottom lashes
04:04to anyone that's looking for a more finished look. However, it's definitely more high maintenance.
04:09To maintain the lashes, what we tell our clients to do is not to get them wet for the first
04:1324
04:14to 48 hours would be best. When you're washing your face, be really careful. Wash around the
04:19eye area, you don't want to do any rubbing back and forth. Then that's it, you've got
04:26yourself a bottom lash application. So, Colleen, we're all done. Do you feel comfortable?

04:39Oh my god! The bottom lashes! They're beautiful! It kind of looks like I'm wearing eyeliner, but
04:47like in a very subtle way. Oh, they're so pretty. My lashes don't even look this good with mascara on.
