00:12Today we're going to be trying out this mask.
00:14It's called the Grand Central Beauty Mask, Skin Perfecting Mask, S-M-A-R-T.
00:20And it stands for Smooth, Moisturizes, Anti-Aging, Redness-Reducing, Tones for All Skin Types,
00:26which sounds like a miracle worker.
00:27So basically, anything you want a mask to do, this thing promises to do it at a 90% to
00:33100% success rate.
00:35So my skin tone is a little bit uneven.
00:38I suffer a little bit from redness, dry skin.
00:41I'm not wearing any makeup right now, so this is what you get.
00:44So what we've got is four active mask powders, and you can see it's a little bit messy.
00:50And then we have four vials of the Intensive Booster.
00:54Then there is a little spatula inside.
00:57You can use your own spatula.
00:59And then there's a rubber band for reasons unbeknownst, too.
01:02What you're supposed to do is take one of these, the active mask powder.
01:12And then one of these.
01:14And then all you need to make the magic really happen is a cupful of water, which I've got right
01:22here.
01:23Just tap water is fine.
01:25Now, it's not going to blow up or anything, but you do have to give it a little stir.
01:29So as soon as it's all incorporated, as you can see here, you're going to want to put it on
01:33your face.
01:34Since I have bangs, and my bangs don't want the mask on them, I am going to put on this
01:38super stylish sequin headband.
01:43And so it kind of feels like the consistency is like putting strawberry yogurt on your face.
01:51It's going to start dripping off of your face, so you want to do this over a surface or your
01:56sink or the tub.
02:00So, 15 minutes have passed, and it's dry.
02:05As you can see, you're supposed to look like Freddy Krueger's more image-conscious sister.
02:10The great thing about it is that it peels off.
02:12I probably should have used the entire tub because the areas where I didn't put as much on, it's not
02:17peeling away as easily.
02:19So I just rinsed the rest of the crust off of my face, and now I'm back.
02:23And, I mean, you can't feel it, but my skin does feel a lot smoother.
02:26I feel semi-hydrated.
02:29The redness is still there, but my pores, I guess, are smaller.
02:34So as a mask, it really does work.
02:37But for $75, this thing better work, you know?
02:39I really don't think it's worth it, given the mess, the money, and the hassle.
