00:09Hi, welcome to Refinery29. I'm Connie and today I'm going to be showing you three quick and easy
00:14Halloween DIY costumes that you can actually DIY if you have no crafting skills and it's
00:18Thursday morning and you're panicking you don't have a costume and they don't involve a bandage
00:22dress because God knows we hate bandage dresses here. So the first one we're going to do is the
00:27Banksy flower launching graffiti thing and all you really need for that is a hat, a bouquet of flowers,
00:33a black shirt, a bandana, and I am wearing pants and shoes underneath this table.
00:43The second costume DIY is a visual pun. You might need to explain it to people but that's all part
00:48of the joy of Halloween. All you really need is a hat with a brim, a leaf, some twine. You
00:54have to
00:54affix the leaf to the brim somehow so it's dangling right in front of your face, Magritte style. You
00:59can either pin it, sew it, glue it, but you know, if you have tape, you should just tape. I'm
01:05a leaf blower.
01:12So for the last costume you either need to buy the most accessories for it or spend the most time
01:19constructing the actual pieces of it and we're going to go for the latter because that's a lot more fun.
01:23So what you need are a black marker, a red marker, scissors, and then some sort of paper material
01:31that's a little bit stiffer than regular copy paper. I'm going to use a manila folder. We're going to
01:36construct devil horns and a mustache.
01:46I was a lonely child. And you're a devil in disguise.
01:53So there you have it. Three super easy Halloween costume DIYs that prove that you don't have to go and
01:58buy something pre-packaged if you don't have a lot of time or money. Have fun with it and we'll
02:03see you
02:03Halloween. Bye guys.
