00:27Wrestling fans
00:29since there has been a lack of unity within this empire for a long time running now.
00:35The things have trickled down from our heavyweight division.
00:38Fighters like Calum Neumann and Will Ospreay have not been seeing eye to eye
00:41as of recent
00:41when it comes to empire leadership.
00:44And here in the junior heavyweight division,
00:46Francesco Akira and Jacob Austin Young
00:49have not been able to find themselves on the same page either.
00:58And even if United Empire have not been fighting as united as they have previously,
01:04Akira and Jacob Austin Young walked into the evening, tied at the top of Block B, and now
01:11will be fighting to remain tied at the top of Block B.
01:14Four points on the board for Francesco Akira and Jacob Austin Young.
01:19But these two men have to get it together if they want to be able to take down former Super
01:25Junior Tag League winner tonight.
01:26That's how I play the game.
01:28I play the game.
01:30That's how I play the game with the game.
01:32Thank you.
01:40The game is playing.
01:42Let's go.
01:44Akira
02:25Thank you for watching.
02:44two years ago it was Kosei Fucina and Robbie Eagles who crowned themselves at the
02:49top of the sport for the very first time in a junior tag team division would go on to become
02:53not one time not two time but three time IWGP junior heavyweight tag team champions and
03:01in many ways Kosei Fucina and Robbie Eagles are flashing back to that 2024 junior tag
03:06league final that also was against a United Empire duo but it was not Jacob Austin Young who was standing
03:13in the ring
03:42at that time
03:49and wrestling fans as we get to the early stages of this fight
03:54a little bit of block math update for you both teams tied at four points apiece the same two
04:00and one win-loss record
04:02the way that this map is going to work out with all the matches we've had already and the
04:06one match we'll have left to go coming up on November 1st in Okayama
04:09the losing team in our main event tonight will be officially eliminated from this year's Super Junior Tag League
04:19and Jacob Austin Young looking to walk his own path tonight as Francesco Akira
04:23has a very different idea of how he wants things to go down and already you're starting to see
04:28a division before our very eyes in United Empire
04:31I had Francesco Akira join me in the English broadcast booth just a couple of nights ago and
04:36Ibadaki had a lot to say about
04:39being in United Empire the loyalty that he has committed to Will Ospreay
04:43and the difference in with Jake Austin Young seemingly
04:46sitting a lot more on the Callum Newman bench
04:50you know that this has been a rift that we have seen between Francesco Akira and Jacob
04:55Austin Young
04:56Akira has been doing a lot of competition over in all elite wrestling has had an opportunity to
05:01you know really reunite with Ospreay and all the positive messages all the positive methods rather
05:07Will Ospreay has been utilizing as AEW world champion Francesco Akira has really taken after
05:12them again
05:13you know this really uh it's a lot more like the good old boy that we used to see
05:16in a New Japan pro wrestling ring
05:18that was Francesco Akira a lot less like that goblin that was running around trying to get
05:24in the face of children
05:24a couple of months ago and uh that's the difference here between Akira and Young Jacob Austin Young
05:30has really taken over a lot
05:32ooh a lot more of that role in his Super Junior Tag League tenure is oh man this is making
05:38me quiver in my seat right now
05:41a leg injury like that is not a good feeling for Jacob Austin Young and a man who has a
05:47lot back
05:47history to damage on that left leg after many months of competing in the Chinese independent wrestling scene with O
05:53WE
05:58taking this one off the ropes right here is Jacob Austin Young makes the tag right here to
06:02Akira and Young are going to take every opportunity to fight out of this one it was the Super
06:07Secondary Tag League
06:08final in 2024 former winners catch 2-2 Francesco Akira and TJP could not manage to
06:15Stand the test In the
06:17on sweet boys back at power struggle a couple years ago and while TJP is nowhere to be seen
06:24at this point
06:25in time Jacob Austin Young took the post-match comments and remember clearly being at ringside for
06:30that
06:30Super Junior Tag League final fight Jay has studied the game of the former catch 2-2 duo and
06:38now believes
06:39Hey, this is the better catch 2-2. This is not even catch 2-2. We are our
06:44own, own, own, unique identity
06:47And I think Jacob Austin Young and Francesco Akira
06:49They could have a lot of potential as a tag team, but
06:53They just have not been able to see eye to eye
06:56I think when it comes to
06:59Relationships there are some core things that both parties have to be able to agree on there's some
07:04non-negotiables and
07:05Well for Akira and Jacob Austin Young, the chosen leadership of United Empire seems to be one of them
07:14Tag of the corner here and Jacob Austin Young your legal man again
07:19We find this very telling me Francesco Akira is going to step off the apron
07:23What's nothing to do with what's being done here, and it's not Akira putting the boots
07:26in Ak-Fujida
07:27It's Zane-J
07:29No reason at all for Zane-J to be doing what he's doing right now
07:33Should not be any heavyweight influence in this Super Junior Tag League, especially in our main event
07:39The losers of this fight will be done and dusted will be eliminated from this year's Tag League
07:46Vance, I want you to take an eye and I wish we could get a replay on it right
07:49now
07:49Jacob Austin Young made that cover and did not look at Fujita. He was looking directly at Francesco
07:54Akira
07:57When your biggest enemy in a matchup like this may be standing in your own corner
08:00And it's going to change the way that you approach
08:03I'm not sure that the focus is at all fully on each of our sweet boys the way it
08:08needs to be
08:14Meanwhile many many battles we've seen between Francesco Akira and Kosei Fujita and I
08:19cannot wait to see many more
08:21Including here in this Super Junior Tag League match
08:25And it's taking this one into the corner Kosei Fujita
08:28That's the Super Junior winner in 2025 and take a look Akira
08:33As that tarantula hole trying to lock it in on the large body of Kosei Fuj
08:38ita
08:41Starting to realize hey Fujita one of our larger believe it or not junior heavyweights five foot
08:4611 inches tall
08:48Yeah, Francesco Akira a little bit on the smaller side of that equation, but I digress
08:55What makes both of these men such great junior heavyweights very different styles and well for Akira
09:00and J.A.Y. very different philosophies and
09:03I'm sure that these different philosophies are really going to be what win Jacob Austin Young or Ak
09:08Ira of this tournament
09:09Yes, finally Robbie Eagles having to pay a dividend here and take it right to the outside you see young
09:17trying to command
09:19By comparing a veteran member of the Empire
09:23Where does Jacob Austin Young get off thinking that he could be telling Francesco Akira?
09:27Hey, this is how things are going to be done
09:28Are these messages coming from Callum Newman?
09:31Are they coming more from J.A.Y.
09:33Oh, come on
09:39Oh, and again, you can tell this is a Callum Newman directive
09:43Do anything to win at any cost
09:47There is no cost too big to call yourself a junior tag league winner Francesco Akira might know
09:52that himself
09:53And so too do these each about sweet boys
10:03The winners of this fight will tie with a swirl and super junior tag league for block B six points
10:10on the board
10:11One of these duos along with Yo and Hyo heading into the final night the other side of
10:17this match though will be eliminated
10:32Let's see what Robbie Eagles is capable of here
10:38Oh got knocked out back in Cork and Hall in his last shooter tag league fight
10:44All thanks to a floated cat is our good pal Chris Charlton mentioned
10:51Robbie Eagles here
10:52Oh, that's full knee
10:55Con a full drive
10:58Oh, somato
11:00From Robbie Eagles
11:03And cover for eagles again
11:06Still a two count on Robbie
11:11Of course Robbie Eagles has already had to tie it up a couple times with United Empire over the course
11:16of this year
11:17Managed to beat Jacob Austin Young back in best of the super junior 33
11:22J.A.Y.'s debut tournament here in New Japan
11:26Debut singles tournament at the least and right now Robbie Eagles
11:29Oh yeah, Akira's been on the wrong side of this before Robbie Eagles is a man who
11:35Ages like a fine wine gets better and better as the time goes on but
11:39Well, the directive has been the same ever since the tag league final we saw a couple years ago with
11:44these men
11:46Target the knee set up for that. Oh, Ron Miller special the J.A.Y.
11:49Hi-ya
11:51Taking down Jacob Austin Young on the knee
11:55Oh wait a minute Akira inside cradle for the two and a count one more time
12:02Oh listen to the knife edge on that crown of fire chop
12:05Kose though watch it victory roll right back up and through here we go
12:10No, Akira had that one scouted
12:13And victory roll shot through the center
12:18And Akira steps up with the enzigiri one more time
12:21Oh
12:23Francesco take a look
12:25It is it turbo backpack denied Akira
12:29No, could not stop the poison Rana and look at Akira
12:34No fireball knees denied roundhouse from Eagles super kick from Robbie
12:40Francesco Akira
12:45Fighting to stay alive and super junior tag league is on the run
12:49Cutter cutter cutter from Akira
13:00Great instincts we just saw there for Francesco Akira stealing that maneuver out of mid-air
13:06And doing so right on the neck of Robbie Eagles that has been damaged all throughout this super junior tag
13:12tournament
13:15Tag in the corner here comes Jacob Austin Young
13:18You can feel the regret for Akira as soon as he tagged out to J.A.Y.
13:22But it is the only safe place for the crown of fire to be right now
13:29And Jake Boston Young with a snap mare take down
13:33Off the ropes Eagles sweeps the leg find it find it Eagles
13:37Full body weight down and still not there for J.A.Y.
13:41Robbie oh snaps down with a Saito
13:48Robbie Eagles has such an impressive snap on that back suplex and it is being showcased here
13:53And Kifu Japan our main event of the evening
13:56The winners stay alive it's super junior tag league and here comes the Japanese young punk
14:05This punk is gonna have a lot to say about Jacob Austin Young
14:10Oh especially if you can manage to put the man down but watching Eagles Eagles on the shoulders here
14:15One sweet buster but Francesco back in the ring
14:18Akira whoa whoa whoa whoa
14:22What the hell what the hell Akira man what a save right there for Francesco
14:28Yeah popped right over the top here
14:31Oh and here's the first of many that I'm sure we'll see on the night Young takes
14:35out Akira
14:37We've been seeing a lot of that back to back to back
14:40These junior tag league fights for both of these two teams Jacob Austin Young here
14:46Oh, take a look at this
14:50New wrinkle in the arsenal by my money for Jacob Austin Young and Akira intermediate
14:54What's one of us on the ground tarantula the ground tarantula
14:57Tonto Akira by Yoshihiro Tajiri himself Francesco Akira has that tarantula
15:03in
15:03Now the Fujita Fujita oh what's that Fujita screw
15:09And Eagles wants submission of his own that Rod Miller special locked in only one of these men is able
15:15to tap right here
15:16And J.A. Weiss trying to reverse the pressure on it cover cover on Kose
15:24Look at this imperial prism imperial prism from Jacob Austin Young and oh
15:35Robbie Eagles using the dissolving relationship of the empire to its benefit but man
15:44I'm not using your body for your own good use Francesco Akira needs Jacob Austin Young to
15:50dig down deep
15:52To pave a path to another junior tag league final
15:56We have to finish this
16:05Oh come on Jay don't do this please
16:08You have an empire to save you have an empire to save
16:12Oh come on Fujita
16:15Fujita with the roll but it's Jay into the insecurity
16:19And Francesco if Jay doesn't want to do it he'll do it himself but maybe they'll
16:24do it together
16:24Oh
16:28And a shining wizard from Jacob Austin Young
16:37Each of our sweet boys nearly eliminated from this year's junior tag league
16:45Four on Jacob
16:46Hurry up
16:48Finish him
16:50Yeah
17:00You see Jacob Austin Young once bites the dust
17:04If J.A.Y. can manage to get that one it's all said and done here
17:26Young and Fuchita
17:28Training blows in the center of Fure Dome
17:32Oh yeah oh yeah
17:34This is what we want to see a slugfest
17:36T.M.D.K. and United Empire
17:41Touch it though popped up popped up in the danger zone the clutch
17:44And Fuchita
17:46Take it back down again with the O'Connor
17:49J.A.Y. with the cover
17:50The cover
17:52Oh
17:56Turnabout fair play Robbie Eagles got it
17:59Oh what that pointed drop kick
18:01And Akira back to the outside
18:03Again Robbie with a big boot takes down the Italian born
18:07And Jacob just sacking Robbie Eagles to the outside
18:12Looking to put it to a close brain rot from the inside
18:15Fuchita
18:16No
18:17Look at the strength
18:19The power of Fuchita
18:23Trying to hoist him here we go here we go
18:27Oh
18:27Oh what a thrill ride
18:28Oh Young
18:29Young
18:31Oh
18:32Oh
18:39Jacob Austin Young
18:43The barest
18:44The barest of covers
18:45And a kick out of two
18:55This isn't a match about saving the Empire
18:58It's about saving your life
19:00In the Super Junior Tag League
19:03J.A.Y. wants his first tournament final
19:06And is going to climb the ladder
19:07Oh
19:07But wait a minute Fuchita
19:09On the shoulders here comes Eagles
19:11And it's in
19:13Sweet Busta
19:19No
19:20No
19:20No
19:21No

19:29Jacob Austin Young just kicked out of the Sweet Buster
19:32Oh
