00:02A South African judge on Friday allowed a group organizing anti-migrant rallies to
00:08plan more marches but under tighter conditions. The government had sought to stop the rallies
00:14on grounds that they harm public order. Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the court in
00:21Durban on Friday as the judge examined the police minister's application. The group's
00:27leader denied its sought to create chaos. You can't blame much and much for every single
00:32violence outbreak because you want to do that. We know and we've consistently been saying that
00:38in Durban, KZN, there's a lot of vangrards that live in the city. So if you're going to say every
00:43single time they decide to do something that is going to be blamed on much and much, then you have
00:48to prove it. Protesters sang and chanted outside the high court, waving placards, reading, quote,
00:55reclaim our country, end of court, and sticks as police officers kept a close watch. Durban has
01:02become a focal point of anti-migrant agitation led by the March and March movement.
01:09I am not a member of any political party. I don't give a damn about politics, but I give everything
01:17in my life
01:18towards ensuring that there's a peaceful and a prosperous South Africa where everyone lives in
01:25harmony and are equal before the law. Some demonstrations have turned violent, including
01:31last week when a mob of about 50 people beat a foreign national to death, prompting President
01:37to cancel Ramaphosa to deploy soldiers to support the police.
