02:51Great Milano Collection ATM, Makoto Oi
02:53We are into the
02:55action tonight for Super Junior Tag
02:57League 2026 A Block Competition
03:03A lot of history between Mystico and Ryusuke
03:06Taguchi from Taguchi's time down
03:07in CMLL on excursion many years back
03:11Very similar approaches being taken
03:13to this final league matchup here
03:15Jay, it is Mystico who has
03:17said, hey, I'm making it a mission to make sure
03:19Yasuda scores his first pinfall or
03:21submission in a Junior Tag League
03:23Meanwhile, Taguchi's saying, well, I'm making it my
03:25Mission for Kazuma Sumi
03:27to score the final fall in this league
03:31Yeah, I mean
03:32from my perspective, I'm a little bit
03:33more applications with
03:35Sumi Gogo as a team
03:38You know, Yasuda
03:40Coming in here as Despy's
03:41replacement
03:42so
03:44and I know that Mystico's been around
03:46for a very long, long time
03:47but I'd say Taguchi might be the better tag specialist
03:50out of these two
03:51That's a great point
03:52long-time jackets
03:53so it'll be interesting to see how this match develops
03:57and it's right to the current elbow tie-up here
03:5923 years of age is at Kazuma Sumi
04:01Former DDT Universal Champion
04:04DDT D-Generations Cup Winner
04:06the youth movement being led in DDT Pro Wrestling
04:09by this athlete, Kazuma Sumi
04:10and with athletic ability like that
04:12you can certainly understand how
04:16you are stepping into the ring with the ace of CMLL
04:19the current lightweight champion and trios champion in that organization
04:23and Mystico
04:26as Mystico and Kazuma Sumi
04:28coming to the early stages of the action
04:30oh, and a big tilt-a-whirl backbreaker
04:32more the damage
04:36I gotta tell you Jay, Mystico feels like a really difficult opponent
04:39to try and prepare for
04:40he likes to hit some of his greater hits
04:43But I mean, Mystico is just
04:44he's just such a great athlete
04:46I mean, when you have as much experience as he does
04:48You know, he has, you know
04:50probably more forgotten pro wrestling
04:52than a lot of us will ever learn
04:53so when you're going into a match with them
04:56you know, you really don't know what to expect
04:59Yasuda with a hip toss
05:00into the cover on Sumi
05:01and a count of two
05:02in comparison to, you know
05:03someone like Yasuda Young Lion
05:05you know, they usually
05:06their movesets are a little bit limited
05:08you know, they want to focus on the fundamentals
05:09The Basics
05:11it's been really interesting to see Yasuda
05:12I mean, a little over two years
05:14competing out of the Noguei Dojo
05:16made his debut in June of 2024
05:19it's been a long time cooking in the kitchen
05:21Did Yasuda inside that Dojo?
05:25has talked on social media briefly
05:27about how at one point
05:29he had been hired by New Japan Pro Wrestling
05:31fired by New Japan Pro Wrestling
05:33had to fight back into the Dojo system
05:35I mean, even to compete in a junior tag league like this
05:38as a last minute replacement
05:39it is such a dream come true for Yasuda
05:41But those dreams mean nothing
05:42if you don't put any results out
05:45Yeah, I mean, you know
05:47it's got to be such a surreal experience
05:51they didn't make the announcement
05:52that Despi was going to be out of the tournament
05:54until maybe a couple days beforehand
05:55So, you know
05:56I don't even think Yasuda knew
05:57that he was going to be competing
05:59not exactly compete
06:00but teaming with Mystico
06:02And, you know
06:02competing in the block that he's in
06:04you know, A-Block's tough enough as it is
06:06Yes
06:07You know, and it's like
06:08to try to prepare for a tournament
06:10you know, I'm sure he was only expecting to do
06:12Opening card singles matches
06:15And Suguchi into the cover here on Yasuda
06:18on the count of two
06:19and back to the break
06:24Jay, it always interests me to see
06:27competitors on opposite blocks
06:28and ask them a question
06:29are you watching the action that's happening in A-Block
06:32while you've been trying to focus on yours over in B?
06:35Yeah, you know
06:36you always kind peek in
06:37you're always kind of paying attention
06:38to all the matches going on
06:40so, you're definitely paying attention
06:43I'd say
06:44out of the teams to me
06:45in A-Block
06:46It would have been Sumi Gogo
06:48as well as TV2
06:49that have caught my eye the most
06:50you know, oh
06:54I think Kazuma Sumi
06:55a world of potential here in New Japan
06:57but
06:58Oh, the idol unit
07:00and DDT Vi Wrestling
07:02very lucky to have this young athlete
07:04as it is
07:05Kazuma Sumi
07:06Not going to find a win yet
07:07over Yasuda
07:08Yeah, from what I've seen
07:09He's a great athlete
07:10you know
07:11incredible
07:12incredible
07:13high-quality flyer
07:16you know
07:17but
07:17you can see
07:18in comparison to a window
07:19of these other juniors
07:20especially someone like
07:21Taguchi
07:22who's probably the biggest junior
07:23that we have
07:24you know
07:25sometimes you want a little bit of size on you
07:28I think that
07:29same idea can apply to young lion Yasuda
07:31I think a lot of people
07:33expected Yasuda to be trending
07:34a little bit more heavyweight
07:35than junior weight
07:36of course
07:37all of our young lions juniors
07:38up until the point of excursion
07:40as the
07:41Cover here for Yasuda
07:42count of two
07:43ah
07:48Yasuda's been forced into some very tough
07:50Piece of action
07:51Not just Jay
07:53being put into the Super Junior Tag League
07:55but
07:55the match order did not change
07:57from when it was supposed to be
07:58Desperado and Mystico
07:59Yasuda's been competing
08:00in a lot of
08:01semi-main event
08:02and main events
08:02over the course of this tournament
08:03yeah
08:04I can only imagine
08:06huge hip attack
08:06from Taguchi there
08:07I can only imagine the pressure
08:08you put on yourself
08:09to be in a main event like that
08:11especially as a young lion
08:12He's probably only ever been
08:14in room
08:14Angler Match
08:15and you know
08:16then followed by being ringside
08:18for those main events
08:19But then to compete in those
08:20and try to
08:21you know
08:21when you are in a main event
08:23There's a certain level of
08:24you know
08:25expectation
08:25put on for the fans
08:27but also
08:27you're trying to win
08:29and we would see that
08:30with Yasuda
08:32you know
08:32taking a lot of risks
08:33that's why his neck is taped up
08:34yes
08:35that's a great point there Jay
08:37Yasuda of course
08:38he created in his first career
08:39Main event
08:40back in one of our
08:41Corcoran Hall nights
08:42for Super Junior Tag League
08:43but
08:44Even with a win
08:45Mystico
08:46the only two points
08:47that Mystico and Yasuda
08:48have on the board right now
08:49He really looked like Yasuda
08:51not only did his bell get wrong
08:52in that matchup
08:53but
08:53at the end of the day
08:54was really beautiful
08:55that he did not have an influence
08:56on the
08:57painting result
08:59yeah
08:59I mean
09:01you always want to get the win
09:02you know
09:03even when you're on a team
09:04you want to be the one
09:05who score the win
09:10Yasuda cannot do various
09:11to be selfish right now
09:12as a young lion
09:13doing a lot of great training
09:15as of recent
09:16on the road
09:17with Mystico
09:17every single night
09:18as the tag's been made
09:20El Rey de Plata Yona
09:21inside the Ring
09:24King of Silver and Gold
09:26going one-on-one
09:27against a former champion
09:28in DDT Vi Wrestling
09:29It is worlds colliding
09:30tonight you never would have imagined
09:34Look at this from Sumi
09:38a lot of inspiration
09:40you'll find from the Lucha Libre sectors
09:42in DDT Vi Wrestling
09:43and Sumi
09:44wow
09:45taken to the
09:46Like a duck to water here
09:47great tilt-to-whirl head scissor
09:49Taken out of Mystico
09:54Kazuma Sumi
09:55easily the smallest competitor
09:57fighting in this year's
09:58Super Junior Tag League
09:59and Mystico
10:00Oh, I'm going to study
10:01a lot of his strength
10:02to great advantage
10:06Escalera
10:07all the way to the top
10:08here Jay
10:08Look at the control
10:11for Mystico
10:12in this position
10:15yeah Mystico might be one of
10:17like you could say
10:18as an example
10:18of 1st Junior heavy weight
10:20He's still got size on him
10:21But he can work the ropes
10:23he can fly
10:24really
10:24Probably better than anything
10:26yeah no doubt
10:27while Mystico
10:28Walk the ropes like a message
10:30fly through the air
10:31Kazuma Sumi
10:31oh
10:33Double strikes up and down
10:34Sumi and Mystico
10:36Are knocked out here
10:38Referee: Marty Osami
10:39do a great job
10:40Checking on both competitors
10:41as it is Taguchi
10:42and Yasuda
10:43desperately trying to
10:44fight into this ring
10:46This is Yasuda's chance
10:55we all know
10:56it's been
10:57storied
10:58it's been documented
10:58just how much
10:59Ryusuke Taguchi
11:00has been a great recommendation
11:01in Hontai
11:02for a lot of young lions
11:03No but Taguchi
11:04has not taught Yasuda
11:06He knows everything
11:07and that cover here
11:08Off-the-hip attack
11:09only a two-person trial
11:10here for Yasuda
11:11oh smart
11:12Yasuda rolled out of the way
11:13Oh but a bum
11:15oh yay
11:16from Taguchi
11:17into the cover again
11:18still not enough
11:19but keeps controlling
11:20you know what's coming
11:21Jake
11:21He's going for the ankle lock
11:27The more that Yasuda can keep
11:28to those ropes
11:29when it comes to that ankle
11:30lock on Ryusuke Taguchi
11:31I mean Taguchi's
11:32found a lot of wins
11:33over this year with that ankle
11:34lock
11:35Yeah, I mean you see
11:36the way that Taguchi
11:38Likes to cover people
11:38You think he's doing it
11:39as like a bit
11:40but he's really setting himself
11:41up for his ankle lock
11:42mmm
11:43again the
11:44is he ayu pervert
11:46or is he a perverted garden
11:47You know that's the question.
11:48yeah no doubt
11:51We're natural it here
11:52Taguchi now
11:53Hoisted up by young lion
11:55Yasuda
11:55and an insecure
11:57he jumps in
11:59I'm going to rock this young lion
12:00a little bit longer
12:01but Yasuda
12:02wow wow wow
12:02Take a look at this Jake
12:03Rolling Boston Crab
12:04yeah he voices it the
12:05roll of Y
12:06It was Milano Collection AT
12:08who gave it that name
12:09on the Japanese broadcast
12:10and Yasuda
12:12wow
12:12transition to a lion tamer
12:14Yeah, this is a very
12:15different prospects
12:15than we've seen before
12:16out of Yasuda
12:17This may be the new
12:18wrinkle in the arsenal
12:19that could give Yasuda
12:20his first ever win
12:22in Super Junior Tag League
12:25but
12:25oh
12:26I was just going to say
12:28I'm not sure that
12:29a first win for Yasuda
12:31could come over a veteran
12:32like Ryusuke Taguchi
12:33I think Yasuda and Kazuma Sumi
12:37a little bit better
12:37partnered off in that way
12:39inexperienced in
12:40a variety of ways
12:43That experience has got to
12:44be fighting for here
12:45Sumi and Yasuda
12:46They'll send it right into one
12:47another
12:48Sumi, go go over the top
12:50And Sumi take a look at that
12:52drop kick
12:53turn it around
12:54and Taguchi
12:55in control →
12:56oh
12:57oh
13:00Super
13:01Dodon into the cover
13:03no
13:04Broken up again
13:05Mystico
13:06Mystico
13:07doing a hell of a job
13:08Yasuda alive
13:09But you can only help out
13:11your partner so much
13:12from his position
13:12Asahi moons up
13:13Yeah, flying through the sky
13:15here Jay
13:15that's what Sumi loves to do the most
13:21Jay, I gotta tell you
13:22Oh, wait a minute
13:23whoa Yasuda for the cover
13:26Nearly found one at two
13:27I was just going to say Yasuda
13:29might be a dead man's land
13:31but no
13:32The Jackknife for two again
13:34Odor Big Sunset
13:36trying to do whatever he can
13:37To for this win here
13:38oh
13:39The text is a mix of Japanese and English, and is not translated. It
13:39wait a minute wait a minute
13:40oh wow
13:41Looking for the Boston
13:42Yeah, right back out and set
13:43Center of the Ring
13:4610 minutes deep into a 30 minute time limit
13:49We may need no more to go
13:52well
13:52Taguchi
13:54transitioning out
13:55Oh yeah yeah
13:56it peaks
13:56and take control
13:57that left ankle
13:59oh
14:02Yasuda still fighting
14:04yeah Taguchi really wants this one here
14:05Yasuda knows what's coming
14:07and now the hook down deep here
14:08Yasuda has to try and pull his body weight
14:11on the weight of his opponent
14:13he needs to start crawling is what he needs to do
14:15he can't let Taguchi push that ankle right down
14:19keep crawling
14:22keep crawling
14:22come on your fingertips away here Yasuda
14:24oh
14:25oh
14:25drop kick right in the ribs
14:27yeah Tzumi this is the full advantage now
14:30drops down with the elbow and the ankle is in
14:33oh my
14:33Gar Ankle It's done
14:35Yasuda has tapped
14:36in his final league match
14:4011 minutes 0 seconds
14:41The winner is Ryusuke Taguchi.
15:07well the final result being read out here allowed in Kyoto but
15:12to give you the rundown here folks
15:14Ryusuke Taguchi and Kazuma Sumi will end
15:17this year's Super Junior Tag League Tournament
15:19No path to the final but
15:21a positive win loss record at 3-2
15:236 points will land the mark for the first time team
15:27of Taguchi and Sumi
15:30I'll tell you right here
15:31if you're a fan of DDT Pro Wrestling
15:34you are going to want to watch a lot more of Kazuma Sumi
15:36A great day over there
15:38and the DDT landscape to come on Wrestle Universe
15:43what a duo that we have seen throughout this tournament though
15:46for
15:47Missiko and Yasuda
15:48Super Junior Tag League A Block
15:49The current official matches are
15:5011 minutes 0 seconds
15:52Taguchi Ryusuke
15:54Sumi Kazuma's team is victorious.
15:57I mean what you can say for Yasuda is
15:59he got a lot of experience he might not otherwise
16:01you know
16:03He wasn't on the docket
16:05to be a part of this tournament
16:06before Desperado's injury
16:07and he got a lot of big chances
16:10and even in defeat
16:11you can take a lot of lessons from that
16:13Yep, noreg
16:14Let's take a shot
16:15right
16:16don't know for a sip
16:18put off your
16:19fire
16:19Let's get used
16:45I think Mitsuko's going to deck the future right now
16:50But Yasuda was aware of what the whole world wanted.
16:53I want a Boo-Boo, come back to Morito.
16:57The tank on the fourth floor,
16:58E avalan,
17:00I was able to see something truly wonderful.
17:01Netzel is a new French finish for the mouth.
17:04Yasuda is going back.
17:06I have an audition board.
17:09Tournament run is
17:11Yasuda and Mistco are also expensive.
17:13Imagine a place that had a large lens,
17:16thank you for your hard work.
17:59Let's meet again
18:24thank you for your hard work
18:46to our semi-main event of the evening
18:48To come. Master Watto and Kukai
18:50already eliminated from Super Junior
18:52Tag League action, but it is House of
18:54Torture that look to find themselves
18:56victorious and hoping for an unbound
18:58company loss. That's our semi-main
19:00event to come. Tokyo and
19:02Katamaru against Kukai and Watto.
