00:00:04adding some insane builds to complement my new living situation,

00:00:12all starting on day one.

00:00:21However, the birch forest is not exactly where I need to be this video,

00:00:25so let me grab our starter tools real fast.

00:00:27First, by cutting down this tree.

00:00:29Okay, then let's start off by making ourselves our wood pickaxe.

00:00:34Look at how fast this thing is.

00:00:36Oh my word, we're going to get so much stone off the rip.

00:00:38Okay, then let's get set with our stone tools, as well as I'll make two furnaces.

00:00:42One that I can turn into a smoker and one that I can keep a furnace.

00:00:45All right, well, we have a world to explore.

00:00:49I need a river very badly.

00:00:50I don't know if there's one near me, but I hope there is.

00:01:27Moving on, I cooked up some food for the journey.

00:01:29Scouting a plains biome with a village in the distance.

00:01:32Unfortunately, the closest river I found wasn't a solid choice either,

00:01:35though it did lead me to a boat, giving me my first taste of iron.

00:01:39Yet, that's not what I'm really looking for.

00:01:41Well, I didn't find the river that I needed by nightfall, but...

00:01:44Look at how beautiful this world is, for one.

00:01:46This river could work, but like, I think there's too much sand here.

00:01:48And two, it does lead over there.

00:01:52Like, I do love a solid, giant taiga biome.

00:01:56And there's a village right here, but at the same time, diagonal again.

00:02:00I'm not doing diagonal builds, okay?

00:04:44We made it through the spruce forest, finding a river.

00:04:46One that at first looked pretty promising.

00:04:49Unfortunately, the hills on either side deterred me from building here, yet there could still

00:06:00While scouting, I was able to find a bunch of wood types we could use for the build.

00:06:04Oak and birch in abundance with a small patch of spruce and a major cherry biome.

00:06:09I hooked it towards the spruce and gathered up a bunch while I was here, because we all know I'm

00:06:13using this.

00:06:14Returning home, though, we'll actually need better tools to make a house.

00:06:17Okay, so we're at a current total of 30 iron.

00:06:20I don't think that's going to be enough to make, like, a good set of tools.

00:06:23We have some rares, but if I want to make a starter home here, I'm going to need way better

00:06:28than this.

00:06:28Start with a couple of shovels, do a few pickaxes, and some axes.

00:07:21But this sick cave under the mountain has to have good finds.

00:07:25Digging straight down under the water, I stumbled into my first dungeon,

00:07:29immediately scoring some diamonds and a lot of gold.

00:07:32Although I'm not really down here for diamonds.

00:07:33But I sure was finding them.

00:07:35The reason I go mining so early in the video is to hopefully get a bunch of iron to make

00:07:39legendary tools.

00:07:40But every time I tend to go for simple iron, I end up finding plenty of diamonds.

00:07:44To navigate that issue, this time I went up.

00:07:46Well, more so, I chose to follow cave paths closer to the surface.

00:07:50Netting me a great amount of resources for the days I spent down here.

00:07:54Okay, now that I'm back, let's start up some of this iron so that we'll have plenty to work with

00:08:00when it comes to our tool making procedures.

00:08:03And look at all these diamonds.

00:08:0419 diamonds.

00:08:05Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

00:08:07I do need to make at least a regular old diamond pickaxe so I can get some obsidian.

00:08:12And it's uncommon.

00:08:13Oh well.

00:08:16Okay, so we need some sugarcane and two obsidian and then I can make ourselves an enchant table.

00:10:15And to clear out all these trees.

00:10:18After deforesting the area, I needed a shovel.

00:10:21Dirt would be a major necessity.

00:10:23And with only level one in chance, I just went with quantity over quality.

00:10:28Although I did get a legendary shovel.

00:10:29Using that, I carved away at the plains biome, making sure to keep it looking spiffy.

00:10:34Lucky me though, this extended all the way into day eight.

00:10:36Where I did nothing but mine dirt.

00:10:41Okay, now that I've got all this dirt, I think I'm gonna bring it over here.

00:10:44And just sort of flatten the land out.

00:10:46And move it towards the river.

00:10:48I want to do a retaining wall.

00:10:53I'd say this top layer would be perfect for putting our house on.

00:11:45I wanted to start the build laying out spruce and oak.

00:11:48To then be stripped similar to all log cabin builds that I do.

00:11:51This time, paying attention to detail by adding in windows, stairs, trap doors, and barrels to the bottom.

00:11:56I think it looks good, giving each post a little bit more texture.

00:11:59Okay, so I just pretty much heavily detailed the bottom of our structure.

00:12:03However, there is a main issue with it.

00:12:10So, basically what I'm thinking is, uh, I don't want to do wood for the roof.

00:12:14I want to do, I'm going to run back in the old classic, a stone and a brick texture.

00:12:23I just have to go and find it all now, and then smelt it, and then place it.

00:14:44Something I always underestimate time-wise.

00:14:46But at least, at first we had enough to finish the front of the roof.

00:14:50That way I could see how it would look.

00:14:51Working on the sides of the house, I usually bring up the spruce, then create a shelf for shrubbery.

00:14:56With that set in on both sides, I could move on to the decorations tomorrow.

00:15:00Which consisted of me placing in the windows, laying out oak leaves, and finding or making the right places for

00:15:06lanterns to hang.

00:15:07With my frequent use of slabs, stairs, and trapdoors, I always find it hard to know where I can actually

00:15:12place a lantern.

00:15:16This is certainly livable.

00:15:17Uh, well, except for the interior here, I still have some work to do in this spot.

00:18:21The next couple of days, I headed out with the intent of finding villagers.

00:18:24I guess it's less about finding them, and more about getting to them, and then stealing them.

00:18:29See, Minecraft's done this cool thing where you can now lead boats.

00:18:33So, I no longer have to, like, row with them on the dirt slowly from the village to my house.

00:18:38We can just do it the new-fashioned way.

00:18:40Pulling them towards the river, I tried to get Frank and me in a boat, but that wasn't gonna work.

00:18:44So instead, I opted to drag the villagers across the banks of the shore.

00:18:48Again, didn't work either while Frank pulling.

00:18:51So then, I left Frank, hopped in boat, and boated villagers back home.

00:18:56Leaving Frank to stand guard, as I enslaved the villagers across the nation.

00:19:00Don't worry, I immediately boated back for Frank.

00:19:03Not that I think Frank would die out there, but you can't trust him in the wild.

00:19:06Never know which nuclear silo Frank would infiltrate first.

00:19:50And then we trade a librarian for a mending book, as well as bookshelves.

00:19:57We get all of that going.

00:19:58The minute we get that going, we can fill this out.

00:20:01Uh, we probably won't be able to start enchanting anytime soon, but still, we'll have, at the

00:20:06very least, a level 30 enchantable.

00:20:08Now, these next set of days I like to call, Axe Yourself What Life Would Be Like Without

00:20:13Me.

00:20:13Saga.

00:20:14It's a long name.

00:20:15But we started off at the tree farm to get some spruce.

00:20:18See, my unique axe has no durability left, and with my lack of functioning brain cells,

00:20:23I thought the only way to heal it was with mending.

00:20:25So I needed emeralds.

00:20:26Specifically, Fletchers.

00:20:27Training with them not only allows for more XP, but also the profits in order to buy a

00:20:32mending book.

00:20:33But in this saga, I forgot one minor thing.

00:20:35I made four Fletchers, and with the four adult villagers I brought over here.

00:20:39Thus, I had to return to the village in the dead of night and steal another villager to

00:20:43act as my librarian.

00:20:44Yeah, this one's just kidnapping.

00:20:46But with him set up at the villa, we could begin the re-rolling process.

00:20:50One reason it took so long was because I needed a bookshelf and mending trade.

00:20:53But the second was because I decided to take an unbreaking book instead of mending from

00:20:58the guy.

00:20:59That forced me to wait for another villager to grow up, completely sidetracking my plan

00:21:04and roll for mending again.

00:21:06Eventually, the saga ended as my efficiency 4, unbreaking 3, mending unique iron axe was

00:21:11forged.

00:21:12Okay, we saved our unique axe.

00:21:14That is actually so good.

00:21:16This thing is crazy.

00:21:18Like, what?

00:21:20Yeah, okay.

00:21:21I mean, for some reason, it's a shovel and an axe at the same time.

00:21:24I don't even know how we did that, but we did, which is super cool.

00:21:28Let me just go.

00:21:29I just want to test one tree.

00:21:30I just want to test it on one tree.

00:21:33You guys have seen whenever I shift up next to a log, it takes me a second to break it

00:21:37because it's breaking the whole tree, but if I do shift and then left click, throw it

00:21:43a regular axe on wood.

00:21:45Oh my word.

00:21:51It doesn't normally, like an iron axe is, oh my word, I forgot about that.

00:21:55An iron axe is going to be like two hits from one of these trees and it was on half

00:22:01and we got through three.

00:22:03What in the world is this axe?

00:22:04But that wasn't the only thing I fixed up.

00:22:06Our legendary pick and shovel needed goaded enchant and your boy served up greatness in

00:22:13both getting efficiency 4, unbreaking 3, and fortune enchant rolls.

00:22:17Day 23.

00:22:18With our tools sorted, I wanted to work on a build.

00:22:20Probably the most important build of the video.

00:22:23That being a giant bridge over our gorgeous river.

00:22:27It's mainly spruce.

00:22:28Starting with the walk, I wanted to create something that seamlessly goes over the water.

00:22:32From there, I could create three wide sections of spruce pillars for support.

00:22:36Adding in fences, walls, and lanterns, as well as leaves in the water at the base to mimic

00:22:41the look of longer seaweed.

00:22:42Well, it's not perfect, but it'll do.

00:22:45I think it looks pretty good.

00:22:46And if I'm on a boat, I can pass under it.

00:22:48That was the main thing.

00:22:49I originally came up with an idea where I would block off the waterway.

00:22:52That was such a bad idea.

00:22:53Because now, going over the bridge, we have much more land to work with.

00:22:56Okay, first, what I'm going to do, looking at the land here, I think I want to...

00:23:03I think I want to work on the farms first.

00:23:05Like, obviously, yeah, the farms first.

00:23:07But I think, instead of going straight out of the way and doing the windmill or the barn,

00:23:11I need to put down some farmland so that these guys over here can get fed and not die.

00:23:17That would be good.

00:23:17From there, I'll be able to put in a windmill and actually decorate.

00:23:20But for now, we just need something that works.

00:23:23I started with terraforming, making the height transition feel a little bit smoother,

00:23:28filling in as much dirt as I could till I ran out.

00:23:30That's when I sidetracked to the plains and began cutting up the land.

00:23:34It may look bad over there, but here at the farm, we were looking much better.

00:23:37Once I had more of the backside shape filled in, I moved up to the front.

00:23:41There, I began thinking about the retaining wall and how I could fit it in over here as well.

00:23:45By the end, we had a super leveled out and even area with our wood retaining wall,

00:23:50which probably...

00:23:50It probably does nothing.

00:23:52It probably just rots.

00:23:53It's like a wood retaining wall would not serve well.

00:23:55I did it anyway.

00:23:57Moving to the next day, I actually used the land to create a farm.

00:24:00The biggest farm you'll ever see.

00:24:02Well, that seems about the most we can do for now.

00:24:04I was gonna go all out with all of the farms and stuff like that,

00:24:08but we don't have the product for that yet.

00:24:11So I'm just gonna focus on getting it grown for the villagers.

00:24:14In the meantime, though, with said villagers,

00:24:16I really want to work on my armor a little bit

00:24:19because we do have the legendary iron leggings and the epic boots,

00:24:22but we don't have anything topside and none of it's enchanted.

00:24:26And I'd like to do some things outside of my village.

00:24:29So perhaps I work on some gear plus maybe a sword, actually.

00:24:33A sword would be good, too.

00:24:34We don't have that right now.

00:24:36Can't really defend myself.

00:24:38Do we really only have...

00:24:39Oh, no.

00:24:40Are we, like, nearly out of iron?

00:25:32After finishing up some more trades, I got to work on a new librarian.

00:25:35Mostly for the big two when it comes to armor.

00:25:40Can't live without them in this world.

00:25:41But to actually afford to put that on my armor, I had to do a lot more trading.

00:25:45Not even for the levels, but the price too.

00:25:47My Prop 4 book? 51 emeralds alone.

00:25:51And I need that four times.

00:25:52Okay, inflation is crazy around these parts.

00:25:54By the end of the day, I had enough to afford one full piece of armor.

00:25:58The boots.

00:25:59Sure, the most expensive piece, but easily the most important one checked off the list.

00:26:04Now, day 30, I started by doing the same stuff.

00:26:07Trading for emeralds and levels to combine books.

00:26:09But that's what I noticed.

00:26:10Our anvil is cooked on health.

00:26:13And we can't really combine up all of these books with it looking like that.

00:26:16Thus, I opted to heading out into the plains to find a brand new cave.

00:26:20Also, letting the villagers to restock while I'm out.

00:26:23I got pretty lucky finding a near-surface cave with a lot of iron inside.

00:26:27But also, a lot of mobs.

00:26:29We were still in horrible iron at this point in time, so I had to be sure to be careful

00:26:32down here.

00:26:33Lucky for us, the fortune 3 on my pick made the trip quite short.

00:26:36Getting home with enough iron to combine all of the books we want.

00:26:39Okay, now that we're back with a brand new anvil, let us...

00:26:42Uh, we did combine the book, right?

00:28:46which ended up leading to one of the longest traversal journeys ever.

00:28:50I'm used to running into, like, 13 fortresses right off the bat,

00:28:53but this time, I actually had to go run.

00:28:55Run up, run down, run across, everywhere, until I found the fortress.

00:29:00At the spawner, I wasn't lucky enough to get a covered one,

00:29:02but we thankfully aren't gonna be here for too long,

00:29:04so I just killed enough for three stands and headed out.

00:29:07This time, making a giant bridge path back from the fortress,

00:29:11so it'll be easier to find in the future.

00:29:13Upon making the alchemists, I traded to get them to max.

00:29:16Yes, I want their XP, but the bottles of XP,

00:29:19which is at their max stage,

00:29:21so I can't really get that until I spend all of my money.

00:29:24Because on day 34, I'm going for an iron sword,

00:29:27a combat weapon outside of my unique axe.

00:29:30And instead of relying on books, I went with level 30s,

00:29:33getting a goaded enchant off the rip.

00:29:36Ooh, that's actually really good.

00:29:40but if we just add unbreaking and bending to it,

00:29:43and then we got, like, a sharp 4 fire aspect at some point,

00:31:31Like, the best place for clay.

00:31:32So I just got to work.

00:31:33Finding it the riverbed without aqua affinity or respiration.

00:31:36So maybe there was a couple times that I drowned,

00:31:38but I think I came out unscathed.

00:31:40Although that does mean I have to now smelt all of this down.

00:31:44As my brick total slowly went up,

00:31:45I would add more and more to the wall.

00:31:47Eventually filling up the backside and the sides,

00:31:50but still not the front.

00:31:51But it's then when I forgot to hit

00:31:53a very important certain button.

00:31:56Huh.

00:31:57So that's a little different from what it was yesterday.

00:32:01I may have to have went and mined a little bit of stone.

00:32:04I used the riverbed right there.

00:32:06I mined some stone and I smelted up some extra stone.

00:32:10And then I built the roof.

00:32:11Okay, look, I may have not hit the record button,

00:32:14but I still did the stuff.

00:32:42Actually, setting up their stalls was pretty hard,

00:32:43mainly because I have to think about the block in front of them

00:32:46and how that works in the layout.

00:32:48Plus, I'd rather not them just jump out on me,

00:32:50so I had to design something to go above their heads.

00:32:52A bit weird, but it works.

00:32:54By the end of the day,

00:32:55I think we had roughly 20 slots

00:32:57for different villagers in our new trading hall.

00:32:59Day 41.

00:33:00I'm once again assigning jobs to these little rascals.

00:33:03So we have six Fletchers.

00:34:35I noticed a very big issue with my tools.

00:34:39Um, they're too OP.

00:34:41So instead of having these ones for basic building,

00:34:44I wanted to make a base set of diamond tools

00:34:46that won't destroy everything in its path.

00:34:49Of course, my unique axe will still be used for gatherings,

00:34:51but I just can't use it to build,

00:34:54because if I mess up and break one block,

00:34:56I end up breaking 30.

00:34:58Although the new set didn't exactly end up

00:35:00with the traits that I wanted,

00:35:02so I had to make plans for the next day.

00:35:03That's right, we're heading out to go mining.

00:35:06But this time, the focus isn't on iron,

00:35:08it's on getting more diamonds.

00:35:10That way, I can reroll all of the tools I'd ever need.

00:35:13But the way-too-lucky-me ran into an itty-bitty problem.

00:35:17The cave I'm walking into right now is never-ending,

00:35:20or at least I never found one.

00:35:21But before I show you any of that,

00:35:23let me show you this giant trial chamber

00:35:25that's totally right behind this wall,

00:35:27because it, you know, generates so poorly.

00:35:30I wasn't really trying to do a trial chamber right now,

00:35:32but I did want to assert my dominance on smaller beings.

00:35:35Though the best loot that I ended up with

00:35:36was just some crap potions.

00:35:38Even when opening crates, they were like,

00:35:40here, take my garbage.

00:35:41Which, honestly, I didn't mind,

00:35:43because I had an infinite cave to get back to.

00:35:45A very important cave, as a matter of fact,

00:35:47because this is where I mined seven stacks of diamonds.

00:35:53I kind of want to go down there.

00:35:55Like, this is 30 minutes of mining, by the way.

00:35:57Um, I don't even know what's going on with this cave.

00:35:59It's infinite, but I feel like we should

00:36:01just kind of go down here and explore.

00:36:02You know, it has been a minute

00:36:04since I've ancient city hopped.

00:36:05Can you hear it in my voice?

00:36:07The joy of gaining such diamonds?

00:36:08Yeah, clearly the endless cave demotivated me,

00:36:12but the ancient city was a real neat find.

00:36:14Unfortunately, I lack patience,

00:36:16so I just went with a few chests

00:36:17before I'd start spawning in wardens,

00:36:20getting some decent loot,

00:36:21but nothing to cry home about.

00:36:22Speaking of that wonderful place we call home,

00:36:25I was back.

00:36:26Ah, home sweet home.

00:36:28I am so glad to be back.

00:36:30We did get this cool thing,

00:36:31except at the very end,

00:36:33so like, we could have smelted our ores,

00:36:35but, uh, nope.

00:36:41allowing us to stand on lava while sneaking,

00:36:43and then the universal attractor,

00:36:45which is just, uh, you know,

00:36:46a magnet for items,

00:36:47and none of those I'm gonna be using,

00:36:49unfortunately.

00:36:49I was really hoping for, like,

00:36:50the villager hat,

00:36:51or, um, maybe, like,

00:36:53the charm for right here.

00:36:55We did get the lucky scarf,

00:36:57which applies an extra level of fortune

00:36:58to mine blocks,

00:36:59which is probably why, uh,

00:37:01we are fortune four-ing

00:37:02all of these diamonds.

00:37:04Like, holy cow,

00:37:06we're good for a while.

00:37:08At the behest of such treasure,

00:37:10I went on rolling for new, slower tools.

00:37:13I get that this seems counterproductive,

00:37:15but I'll do anything

00:37:15to not be mining stone with an axe.

00:37:22You know, because levels and such.

00:57:27From this far, you can't really tell.

00:57:28But, like, up close, I grabbed all of our basic essentials and just decided to, uh, vomit them all over

00:57:37We don't actually have vines, but it makes sense.

00:57:40There's a couple that are, you know, strategically placed and there's bamboo growing around it.

00:57:44This one, uh, it's got a couple, like, flower areas.

00:57:47And then, I think, I don't know what I was going for here, but it's, like, they're allowing the vines

00:57:52to grow up it.

00:57:53I don't know.

00:57:53I'm allowing it because of texture and all that.

00:57:56But I think it looks pretty good.

00:57:57It's not super well lit up on the bottom, so, you know, we have to deal with that when we

00:58:01do the farms and all that.

00:58:02But overall, this looks pretty good.

00:58:06I think I might do it again in the future and improve it when I do it.

00:58:09However, there was still the major issue of the farmland.

00:58:12Not only has it been smaller than Ant-Man this entire time, it's grown us no profits.

00:58:17So I'm relying on these next few days to finish the farm, starting with the water, or the hydration of

00:58:23the farm.

00:58:24It always takes me the longest to map out where each water pocket is gonna go.

00:58:28And I had to get rid of a lot of these leaf litter things.

00:58:30Again, whoever added this to Minecraft, quit.

00:58:34Anyway, back to the hydration pockets.

00:58:37These things are just, like, purely math.

00:58:39I gotta figure out exactly where the next water has to go so that this grid isn't, like, too clustered

00:59:56But when it came time for the crops, uh, we didn't have enough.

01:00:04Not that we had a lot of them, but even worse, we had, like, no wheat to go on the

01:07:49To finish off the slow life saga, I wanted to get back on the saddle to hell, mainly for

01:07:54a massive supply of bone blocks, enough this time to grow the entire farm.

01:07:59I mentioned earlier that I don't want to leave it incomplete, and that's something

01:08:02I do very often that I don't want to be true in this video.

01:08:06I think the overall look of this farm is gonna be better when you have it all planted down,

01:08:10and heck, probably when it's all grown.

01:08:12But instead of doing that, I used my leftover bone meal to highlight the other side of the

01:08:16bridge with some new wildlife and bring back some of the grass and trees that I had

01:08:20once cut down.

01:08:22Doing all of this led us into the final day, the tour of the ultimate river base.

01:08:27Well, before we go, I think, for one, this place looks amazing.

01:08:32I mean, truly, truly beautiful.

01:08:35I think we turned this river into a gorgeous little abode.

01:08:39But for my final thoughts, I think we start with our house.

01:08:42It's basic.

01:08:43It's normally what I use, like, in a lot of situations where I'm like, I don't know what

01:08:47to do with the starter home.

01:08:48But, like, it still overall looks very good.

01:08:51Interior is always different.

01:08:52Our kitchen probably could use an upgrade, honestly, and our storage system failed to,

01:08:58uh, ever get organized, and the upstairs never got the deserving decor.

01:09:03But I think, overall, it treated us very well.

01:09:06Next, we made this beautiful villager trading hall.

01:09:09This thing I actually very much so love, and I think these guys even love, too, okay?

01:09:12It's normally, it's nicer than what I normally give them, all right?

01:09:15They even have an upstairs, and they got windows.

01:09:17They got views, all right?

01:09:19They got views, look at them, they can look out over my beautiful land, okay?

01:09:23But, of course, in order to get those villagers, I had to breed them, which leads me over to

01:09:28the villager breeder.

01:09:30Another very simple one, honestly, this is, uh, it's basically just a rectangle with a

01:09:34normal roof on it, like, but it can look this good.

01:09:36Inside, we have all of our beds, and all of our villagers.

01:09:39Nothing too special, but, you know, in case I ever need another one of those guys, eh,

01:09:42eh, oh wait, eh, come here, eh, I can just grab him, just like that.

01:09:47Yeah, you know what, I'll let y'all free.

01:09:48Normally, not what I choose to do, but, uh, you know, maybe they find solace in my absence.

01:09:54Next, we made the fishing hut, with a little bit of a path going through it.

01:09:58Um, unfortunately, I never got to a dock, I just realized that I never got the, well,

01:10:01you know what, we have a boat, we have a piece of dirt, that's a dock for me.

01:10:04But inside, we have all of our, uh, all of our storage for fishing, or, you know, if you

01:10:09want to cut up a fish on our cutting board, you can do that.

01:10:11Out here, we have our bridge.

01:10:13Honestly, one of my favorite builds.

01:10:14I think this bridge is gorgeous.

01:10:16Like, even from the front, this looks so good.

01:10:18I love the leaves going into the water.

01:10:20I think it'd be cool if I could put, like, some moss down there.

01:10:23I just didn't think of that ahead of time.

01:10:25Although, the, the perfect, look at how good this is.

01:10:27It goes from stair to slab to slab to campfire to slab to double slab with a trapdoor campfire

01:10:33slab.

01:10:34Like, what on earth kind of smooth transition is that?

01:10:37I can't believe I came up with that.

01:10:39Next, we get to our farm, which is pure farmland now.

01:10:42Like, I was gonna do a barn and possibly, like, a secondary town over here, but unfortunately,

01:10:47my, uh, my eyes were too big for my hands, I guess?

01:10:52I don't know.

01:10:53And we ended up just making a double windmill.

01:10:55The double wide.

01:10:56No idea that that could be, uh, that that could be done.

01:10:59And yet, look so dang good.

01:11:02It really does look nice.

01:11:03Like, I, I like both designs.

01:11:05I think I like that one more, but that's just because it was easier to build.

01:11:08And soon, all of our crops will grow in.

01:11:10We'll have a great harvest.

01:11:11The villagers will be able to eat in my absence.
