00:11Venezuela sat in precedent, Delcio Rodriguez, delivering more than 1,000 renovated homes in La Guaira, Caracas and Miranda as
00:18part of the Venezuela Rises Plan.
00:20The plan's main objective is to guarantee the protection and financial inclusion of those who lost their homes or suffer
00:27severe structural damage by facilitating their access to new housing or the reconstruction of their existing homes.
00:34The people now returning to these areas have been living in camps following the double earthquake and are returning to
00:42their homes after the Venezuelan government completed repairs and restored public services.
00:46With this delivery, the total number of homes handed over in Caracas and La Guaira has reached nearly 1,200
00:54and efforts have been made to restore more than 4,600 homes in the capital district, La Guaira, Aragua and
01:01Miranda State.
01:12Through the Venezuela Rises Plan, we are renovating more than 21,000 homes.
01:18This will benefit 87,000 people, but today we are already handing over 1,157 renovated homes.
01:25That's 4,500 people returning to their homes.
01:30How exciting it is for these people who can return home today.
01:34But we have also delivered 1,153 new homes, as well as 580 single-family transitional homes, where we are
01:45already moving people from the camps.
01:47It has been my hope, and continues to be my hope, that by the end of the year, there will
01:52be no one left in the camps and that all families will have been relocated.
