00:00Pakatan Harapan pledges to review abandoned projects in Melaka, including the monorail, if it wins the November 14th state election.
00:09Melaka PH Chairman Adli Zahari said the review would ensure accountability in managing public funds.
00:15He stressed that voters deserved to know how funds were spent and who was responsible for reviving the projects.
00:22The review would determine whether projects should continue with new investments or be scrapped.
00:27Adli noted that RM16.5 million was spent on the monorail before services stopped in 2020, saying the public deserved
00:35answers on its assets, maintenance costs and revival plans.
00:40Adli warned that abandoned projects affected public safety, tourism and Melaka's image.
00:46The PH Chief Minister candidate also pledged more transparent aid distribution and fewer bureaucratic hurdles.
00:52He said PH had tackled bureaucratic and partisan practices in aid distribution in 2018 by channeling assistance through government agencies.
