Julianne Moore has only hosted 'Saturday Night Live' once, in 1998, but it was an unforgettable experience. In this video, the 'Boogie Nights' star had just given birth, and her 2-month-old baby was backstage with Moore’s mother during the show, meeting the cast! The star of 'The Debut' shared the story during a live taping of EW's Awardist podcast at SCAD Savannah Film Festival, where she received the Icon award.

00:00It was amazing. The funniest thing about that was that my son was two months old, and my publicist called
00:08me up and said, you know, you have an offer to host SNL, and you're going to do it.
00:14And I was like, I just had a baby! And I did it anyway. I mean, I just, I did
00:20it, and I remember my mother was there holding the baby in my dress room backstage. It was the most
00:24wonderful experience. It was so fun. They're so talented. Absolutely terrifying. But it was just, you know, I feel like
00:32I was almost numb the entire time. But I do remember, you know, everybody coming backstage and meeting my baby,
00:39who's now 28 years old. So, yeah, crazy.
