00:06the chiefs 28 to 24 uh with a goal line stand denver erased an 11 point fourth quarter deficit
00:13uh they sacked patrick mahomes on fourth and goal on the final play after the chiefs got it all the
00:18way down there they stuffed them multiple times and it was just an incredible game uh for denver
00:25denver's now six and two their first four straight wins for them kansas city they're still five and
00:30two not not too bad two straight losses for them though um and now they're a half game back john
00:35what what do you make of this game i mean obviously it looked like the chiefs were in control they

00:39up 24 13 they were cruising and then denver they just have these little moments where they try to
00:45claw back and listen i know this firsthand they did this against my rams i mean the rams were up

00:50nothing in denver and the rams blew that one the chiefs up 11 in denver they blow this one too

00:57this one had some pretty high stakes in it uh what are your thoughts of this denver kansas city game
01:03denver plays very very well at home if you're looking for a reason why denver was even in this
01:08situation to begin with it's because denver is awful on the road at home they might be the best team

01:15the league the problem is you don't play all home games and i thought it walking away from this game
01:20was the same question i had going into this game does the patrick mahomes magic still exist
01:26the fact that by the way and if i see another gun run at something in goal i might fight

01:34that's a different conversation at this point i'm asking myself does the mahomes magic still exist
01:41because this is the second week in a row we've seen kenneth walker stifled and it's the second week
01:47in a row if you look at patrick mahomes's numbers his numbers look great when you watch the game
01:53there's no there's absolutely no way pre-injury patrick mahomes doesn't find a way to score that
02:00touchdown from the goal line with four shots at it it just doesn't happen and so for the the chiefs
02:06not being able to punch that ball in it it really left me walking away from that game starting to
02:12question if the mahomes magic still exists we saw guys with magic on sunday we i i just didn't see
02:17patrick mahomes as one of those guys with magic yeah you know denver was stuffed uh they stuffed

02:29denver 399 to 294 and kansas city you know uncharacteristically they're always a team that has been
02:38pretty sound with penalties they had 11 penalties for 105 yards and denver only had six for 45 so
02:45you look at a lot of homes through for 300 yards yeah and mahomes is now this is an incredible

02:51but mahomes is now 80 and three when leading by double digits in the fourth quarter uh he was 80
02:57it's insane and denver has won 15 straight one score games over the last two seasons john

03:30game really feeling like kansas city is now more of a team than what they used to be and that's

03:40that's because he was legendary yeah that's because with the ball in his hand no matter how much time
03:47is left if he's got the ball last you're in trouble right like today in denver he had the ball
03:55gold to go and stifled stifled and so i a lot of things can factor into that again denver's so

04:03at home and you have to factor in that they actually made the plays to keep them out of the

04:08kenneth walker couldn't get into the end zone and it just kind of seems like everything is now with the
04:13chiefs coming back down to reality and people have figured out the way that they want to play now after
04:18the seattle game with running the ball with kenneth walker and they're they're really starting to show
04:22that the league the coordinators around the league defensively may have figured that kansas city's
04:28number out yeah and denver went three and out on all three of their third quarter drives and then
04:33they scored on both fourth quarter uh possessions which essentially was the game um you know you
04:40mentioned it but there's another part about this harrison butker uh he missed another field goal on
04:45sunday and he's missed 16 kicks since the start of last season which is the most by any kicker
04:51over that span and he's missed six field goals this season and that's already a career high like
04:58this has to be a concern at this point right john i mean you can't do it's much like the
05:02rams or it's
05:03like if you're going to be this good as a football team and have that as your weak link you
05:07can't be
05:08taken seriously i was trying to avoid this but now you don't walk me right here doorstep and you open
