00:00This needs to be fixed, and it is a big thing, and today it isn't some giant trade.
00:05Those are coming.
00:06Because guess what?
00:07Spoiler.
00:08The Bengals need more talent, but we'll save that for another Keys day.
00:14Whatever in the world the Bengals are doing to prepare for the beginning of these games,
00:19the first 15, the scripted plays, everything like that, rip it up and start over.
00:23Figure it out.
00:24We just did a whiteboard segment.
00:26Erase everything and start from scratch.
00:29Because you went to Baltimore in what felt like a season-on-the-line type of game,
00:34division-on-the-line certainly type of game, and you got blanked in the first half.
00:38Then you show up against a Jeffrey Simmons-less, Cam Ward-led Titans team at home.
00:44First time you're at home in what felt like a month plus.
00:47It was roughly a month.
00:48And what do you do?
00:50You get outscored 13-0 in the first quarter, and you're playing from behind,
00:54and it takes a miraculous Joe Burrow touchdown pass to Jamar Chase to get you on the board.
01:00I am sick and tired of the slow start.
01:05Slow start shouldn't be part of it.
01:06So you get the keys, you put the thing in the ignition, and you start faster.
01:09And how do you do that?
01:11Well, you have to find a way to solve the issues and have a better scripted first 15.
01:17Every week, the Bengals go in on offense, and they have 15-ish plays that they're going to lean on.
01:22And in an ideal world, that's the script.
01:24That's what they lean on.
01:25That's their bread and butter.
01:26They see what the defense is doing and adjust accordingly.
01:28Every NFL team does it.
01:30Well, clearly, clearly, their scripted 15 have not worked over the past couple of weeks.
01:35Despite having Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase and T. Higgins and all the weapons that they have,
01:39it has not worked.
