00:01Oh! It is poison! How dare you spit in my face!
00:06Ah!
00:09Indy Navarrete put the slap in Slapstick for her SNL debut. Personally, I'm obsessed with her.
00:16And we've got all the moments everyone's talking about from the Halloween show right here.
00:20Kelly Clarkson and the $15,000 toy bird she wasn't allowed to buy in Brooklyn
00:26made an appearance during the opening monologue. But it was another savage joke that made headlines.
00:32I loved Making Obsession. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm going to be in a Marvel movie.
00:39Yeah, yeah. And I know it's really important for Marvel that you get really fit.
00:44So I've been working out a lot. So every morning I put on my little whore outfit and I hit
00:48the gym.
00:50That little whore outfit? Yeah, it's a reference to Shane Gillis' controversial monologue joke from earlier this season,
00:58which took aim at scantily clad female gym-goers. Indy's not the only one calling him out, either.
01:03Other ladies of SNL previously did, too. Ego Wodum, who left the show at the end of last season,
01:09trolled Gillis by saying,
01:10a whore reporting for duty and joking she's getting her 30 grams of protein in after hoeing.
01:16Two-time Emmy nominee Cecily Strong, who was a cast member for 11 seasons, added to the backlash, writing on
01:23Instagram,
01:24on my way to Pilates in my new slutty-ass orange shoes and rainbow socks. Might sell sex on the
01:31way. Not sure.
01:32But back to the October 31st episode. Over on Weekend Update, another punchline caused a lot of online chatter.
01:39Michael Che's anti-Israel joke. Take a look.
01:42This week, a record number of people voted in Israel's election, which is great to see,
01:47regardless if you're on the right side or the left side or the geno side.
01:53Colin Jost's jaw was dropped. While many cheered on the shocking hot take,
01:58the delivery was certainly clunky, and the audience took a few seconds to catch up.
02:03One person tweeted,
02:04Oh look, a joke about Israel. That is not just a bad joke because it's a terrible pun,
02:09but just the laziest attempt at virtue signaling ever.
02:12Elsewhere in the show, host Indie Navarrete leaned into her dark side with this twisted Paw Patrol sketch.
02:19Kids, go to bed!
02:21Hollywood's newest horror movie, It Girl, also wore a Jason hockey mask during the SNL read-through,
02:26and her after-party look was red-hot. Betty Boop never looked better.
02:31The Obsession star's real-life boyfriend, Nick Aiello, was there by her side too. Smooch.
02:37And here they are getting cozy at the US Open this summer. Aww.
02:41Wow, they seem much more chill than Nikki and Bear.
02:45But what did you think of Indie's SNL debut and the rest of the episode? Let us know in the
02:49comments.
