Palace denies PH blocked China's participation in Asean

Malacañang denied on Tuesday that the Philippines used its position as host of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) summit to hinder the participation of China.

This comes after Beijing accused Manila of “erecting multiple obstacles” to its participation in the Asean Defense Ministers' Meeting in Cebu last week.

In a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro maintained that the Philippines would continue to take a diplomatic approach in dealing with China.
