Ombudsman meets with restaurateurs

Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla on Tuesday met with restaurateurs to discuss industry challenges and identify government regulations and processes that could possibly be opportunities for corruption.

The meeting was part of the agency’s study on establishing an Investment Ombudsman to address regulatory bottlenecks, protect businesses, and encourage investments.

Representatives of about 1,000 restaurants attended the dialogue.
