00:00He may end up saying what Nick fans said, F them picks.
00:04If you win a championship, it is F them picks.
00:07But I walked away from John yesterday with a real confidence teak that in the next week,
00:11a week from today is the trade deadline, you're doing something.
00:14I don't know.
00:15I think they want to do something, but I also know how hard it is to get something done.
00:19And I think the other side of this is that they're not looking for the rental.
00:24That's the other thing that I think was brought up yesterday.
00:27They're not looking for a guy who's on an expiring contract who might give them a chance to win this
00:33year
00:33because that's not where the Giants are.
00:35I know that they have a chance to win the division.
00:38In fact, with the Cowboys losing and the Commanders, basically the biggest threat.
00:43And they're two games behind in the win column.
00:46Forget the loss column because of the tie.
00:47It feels like they have a shot to push into the playoffs, but are they actually a contender?
00:54And do you go get a rental if you're not a contender?
00:58And so I know they want to do something.
01:01I don't know if they're going to be able to do something.
