00:00Twenty-nine-year-old Amin Belechger of Ponder's Gardens in Clapham had committed a catalogue of dangerous driving offences and
00:10tried, quote-unquote, to goad police into high-speed pursuit.
00:15The force said he was spotted riding a high-powered Kawasaki Ninja H2R motorcycle at speed along the A20 Ashford
00:25Road towards Maidstone without a registration plate at around 10.45pm on 27 June 2025.
00:34Police officers were en route to a separate incident, with lights and sirens activated when he pulled in front of
00:41them and began slowing and waved at the officers to goad them.
00:47The constables pursued him for a short distance.
00:50In that time, the defendant travelled at more than 130mph on a single carriageway with varying speed limits of 40
00:59-60mph and crossed over solid white lines into oncoming traffic on the blind bro of a hill.
01:06Officers called for backup after stopping the pursuit because of safety concerns.
01:12Further up the road, police deployed a stinger, which he ran over and his tyres deflated.
01:18He was forced to stop and attempted to evade capture by running into hedges at the roadside, but was stopped
01:24by officers and subsequently arrested.
