Austin (Texas), 3 nov.

00:00It's really important to me, the stakes are incredibly high, I think some of us are probably unhappy with the
00:05direction that the country is currently going and midterms always gives us a chance to turn things around. I'm super
00:11encouraged by the turnout today. I was, if you're familiar with Beto, gosh, years ago when I first graduated college,
00:18he was the first Texas senator that I ever voted for. That didn't go our way, so I'm hoping things
00:23go our way this time with Tallarico, I'm super excited.
00:26And yeah, it didn't take me long to vote, so I'd say get out here, vote, and do your civic
00:32duty.
00:33My main concern in this election is that we continue to attack women's rights, we continue to treat immigrants as
00:40second-class citizens. I don't want to see that. We continue to destroy the environment.
00:46All these things I think are pretty simple issues that anyone can understand why a 22-year-old would want
00:51to see the different outcomes.
00:52I really believe right now it's a critical moment for us to course correct. We can't handle two more years
01:00of the same direction. There's been a lot of breaking and not a lot of rebuilding.
01:04And I voted Democrat, I'm independent, but I voted Democrat. I just wanted to reverse and to go back into
01:09a culture of decency, integrity, honesty.
01:13Forty.
