00:30He finished the marathon in eight hours and 26 minutes
00:36And received his medal from the CEO of New York Road Runners
00:43I would have liked it to be a lot prettier, but I had back spasms in the 18th mile
00:51I never had back spasms before, it just happened
00:54It doesn't matter
00:55But you did it and you're at the finish line, what does it feel like?
00:58It feels wonderful, it's amazing
01:01It was his sixth marathon, the last one he ran was 43 years ago
01:05This time, he finished strong alongside his son and grandson
01:10It was incredible, he's amazing, truly an inspiration
01:1630 years ago I gave up on the idea that we would ever do a marathon together
01:20And it's just unbelievable that he was able to do this
01:24And we were able to do it as three generations
01:25And his strength through problems with his back after the 15th mile
01:30When everybody thought we were done
01:32It's just an inspiration to everyone
01:34And everyone said that along the way
01:35His coach, Sean Fortune, was beaming with pride
01:39We didn't stop once, from 110 all the way to the finish
01:43And from what I understand, in Brooklyn, it was just like a non-stop party
01:46Like Marty was just flying
01:48And while Marty chuckled when asked if he was going to do it again next year
01:51He does have a wish for his fellow nonagenarians
01:54I wish this upon any 90-year-old
