00:01All these nights here at Aloha Parca special particularly when Cristiano Ronaldo is involved
00:08as he is again this evening for Al Nasser and an opportunity for them to do they know what they
00:15want to be and they know that ultimately even if the the results aren't necessarily happening
00:20it's all about us in here tonight but it is a primary night for yellow and there is Cristiano
00:28Ronaldo still this is a night when Al Nasser can celebrate who they are 71 years since the birth of
00:37this football club this game is the designated Nasser day where the present shows its thanks to
00:44the past and in terms of the future
01:07and for Al Nasser tonight three changes from the 3-1 win at Al Faisali Samu Costa is suspended
01:14so Angelo comes in for him they do have Mohamed Simakan back who has missed the last two games in
01:20the Saudi Pro League with injury Al Al Khaloud can they find a response to these four consecutive
01:26league defeats two changes from the most recent one the heavy defeat to Al Etifak Abdul Rahman
01:33Al Dorseri is probably the standout player in terms of the story in this Al Khaloud team tonight
01:39he's gonna have to try and navigate them to a win tonight and that's going to be difficult
01:44and here are the two captains Cristiano Ronaldo and Shaquille Pinas
01:53team of officials tonight led by Khalid Al Torres very experienced Saudi Arabian official
02:05and roaring to go and we know Al Khaloud will have a swing at this tonight but they certainly
02:14need a serious rotation in what the form guide is showing us to get something in Riyadh this evening
02:19how about this for a burst of pace but Simakan recovered really well you wondered whether he'd be
02:23beaten by the way da Costa was moving with such vigor there but fair play to Simakan he ate up
02:29the yards
02:29himself oh there's a chance though for court there was a chance they worked well down the left hand
02:36side I like his movement actually just got in front of Master who has got a bit of pace about
02:41him
02:41and you can see that already da Costa down by Dominguez on by Corsa de Hena and this is a
02:48sombre oh wow
02:51how close was that to an Al Khaloud I thought chest and volley originally might have been the shout it
02:57would
02:57have been offside but I like that little pass and then a sombre again you think he's going to go
03:02for
03:02gold but just chip one towards the far post and I was just waiting for the whistle to go but
03:06and the
03:06linesman was right there as well sombre didn't get the decision and Al Nasser are now coming out Al Khaloud
03:12Felix for Angelo super save Al Shankiti stood up well what a just on side I think there's
03:21Felix clever little ball in behind and now the goalkeeper's got to stand up and be strong fantastic save
03:33another Charles Felix corner a little deeper this time half away by the goalkeeper
03:37said I don't think they compliment each other
03:45Sinekan's a very aggressive defender I've liked his style over the years
04:00it's risky oh it's a big risk it's a big error and it's an easy goal for Cristiano Ronaldo
04:15another night where Ronaldo scores the opener for Al Nasser but Al Khaloud have gifted that goal
04:24to the reigning champions just too easy
04:30I admire their style Al Khaloud trying to play it from the back but
04:33the ball to play across your 18 yard box then you put your teammate under pressure
04:38it's the simplest of goals from Ronaldo to tap in never ever going to miss from there
04:43but you're right it's an absolute gift
04:51and that maybe was
04:55an element of youth backfiring for Al Khaloud inexperienced
05:00Mansoor Kamara under pressure
05:03Ruling Nasser himself who scored the goal however
05:07this is interesting
05:08I think the goal has been disallowed has it
05:11certainly Cristiano Ronaldo's reaction would
05:15suggest that is the case
05:19he wants the referee to check this
05:21let's have a look
05:22when the ball gets played to him
05:25he might be just ahead of it
05:30tight height
05:35well he's had his big moment take it take so many chances he still thinks
05:39he's asking the question is it me offside
05:41only Alfate who are in the bottom three have let him more
05:49it's so close isn't it just offside though
05:55that's why you trust the technology
05:58as much as Cristiano Ronaldo at least twice in all four of their
06:02Saudi pro league games previously against Al Khaloud
06:07it goes towards Dominguez great first touch
06:10Dominguez what a goal that is
06:17Julien Dominguez delivering the biggest moments of his Saudi pro league career so far
06:29Dominguez top level goal this is top level touch on the chest take it away from Simicant
06:35just reverse the finish to the left-hand side it's the chest it's the strength it's a flick
06:42and then just took it away look at this for a player getting the ball down
06:46while you're trying to regain your balance trying to shift it away from Simicant get it on your right
06:52foot then you're bearing down on the goalkeeper one v one he had options right or left he reversed
06:58it lovely to the left-hand side his men are playing some fantastic football in this game
07:04and they've got the reward
07:07they've now got some work to do what of the response Mane with the pullback that's out by Buckley
07:13well the best thing about Al Khaloud they've come here to play it's not a defensive hit you on the
07:18counter-attack performers they're trying to get the ball down and open Al Nasser up
07:25and he's still thinking about the goal that he thought had put Al Nasser one then up
07:36Shao Angelo
07:40one way and then the other and then Schlau Felix takes it on and he's
07:44got it back to Angelo who's picked the gap brilliantly
07:53and the goals are coming thick and fast right now for the young Brazilian
07:59who is pumped up the one-two with Jao Felix is really good just laid it off beautiful back heel
08:05from
08:06Jao Felix and then he had the presence of mind there Angelo under pressure not to just take it first
08:11time wait for that extra second again like the finish of Dominguez he reversed the finish into the corner
08:19just leaves the goalkeeper stranded
08:27and how Ange needed Angelo in that moment
08:35just when it looked like Al Nasser was stuttering
08:47and they smashed that into Schlau Felix from close distance
08:55but this is Ronaldo for Al Nasser
08:59and they're backing again by Angelo because Ronaldo pinged this one
09:08Cimacan
09:09get the clean connection he wants it
09:13this is Mane trying to deliver from the other side
09:19two big headers back there defensive headers for his team
09:25Dorsi would have to be a bit
09:26Mane, Somba's got that position again hands tucked behind the back Mane's got it back from Jao Felix
09:33but he's run out of room
09:35oh and lucky it's a nice switch in the end
09:38it was just a little bit heavy lovely flick again from Jao Felix
09:45touch there was just a tad heavy
09:491v1
09:53that's really nicely worked look at Bouchard here
09:56and look at Schlau Felix and Mane
10:04well Felix made a mess of it but Mane didn't
10:12and those earlier worries are being washed away now by Al Nasser
10:18they spin the game they lead 2-1
10:20oh fantastic move they do get an element of fortune though
10:25so I'm not even sure Sadio Mane's strike was clean
10:31put in behind they've got the overload now
10:33Schlau Felix is the ball
10:35and he's thinking about finishing that one off
10:36that's not clean and I think that might be a double hit from Sadio Mane
10:41strange the way it looped in the air
10:43was I think he hit it with his right foot and came off his left heel
10:50it's a super spot that I have to say initially
10:52I thought that Mane had had done that classic Ozil finish
10:56where he hits it into the ground
10:57they're living dangerously though
10:59it's a great watch isn't it
11:02and this is a great run
11:04Da Costa
11:06firm hands by Ben
11:07so if they keep playing Al Kalu
11:08the back I don't think they can
11:10I think if
11:11Al Nasser get their foot done they can get more goals
11:14that's
11:16that's
11:17and also for Da Costa
11:19Haren has made a little run
11:21Da Costa's going the other way
11:22Da Costa sliding it in
11:24Dominguez
11:25and 2-2
11:27via Asomba
11:30and it's another stunning Al Kalu'd goal
11:44and Al Kalu'd are showing Al Nasser what they're about this evening
11:49stick ball and he's on side
11:52and having the awareness just to put it on a plate for your teammate
11:55and Asomba really can't miss nice way to pass
12:01fantastic football again though they've played really well Al Kalu'd
12:07Dominguez with the cross he's got one goal and an assist
12:16and Loi Casomba
12:19it's their time for Al Nasser to produce something again before half-time maybe
12:25Ronaldo
12:26this is Yaya who's forward from left back
12:28Ronaldo makes it 3-2
12:31and just like that
12:32Al Nasser regain the lead
12:41but the flag is up against him again for offside
12:46oh yeah he's just off
12:49just offside
12:53the finish should expect Ronaldo to took that one away
12:55open up the face with the right foot
13:00Nor him two offside
13:07what a game of football brilliant absolutely brilliant
13:12four goals and two teams eager to play eager to entertain and they have done
13:17just that
13:18Al Nasser who were behind through that goal from Dominguez
13:23in front with Angelo and then Sadio Mane
13:26before the late equaliser at the
13:29very end of that first half from Loi Casomba
13:33and Al Kalu'd despite those four straight defeats
13:37flexing their own muscles tonight in Riyadh
13:40half-time Al Nasser 2 Al Kalu'd 2
13:48against Al Kalu'd and he has had two goals disallowed
13:55Cristiano Ronaldo's frustration
13:57evidence at the end of the first half
13:59I'd argue that it's still there now
14:01yeah I think what he's trying to say to the referee is
14:03why didn't you check but the referee doesn't actually need to check
14:06because he would have got information from
14:07the technology and the VAR that Ronaldo
14:11the superb forward play of Dominguez
14:14they're a very very good team to watch and at the moment
14:18they are making life quite tricky for
14:21Ang Postacoglu's Al Nasser
14:23the team which he is that we're watching
14:25he knows they can't stay at two
14:27they'll concede again Al Kalu'd
14:28they're going to have to just go for more goals
14:31Joao Felix is absolutely going to get booked for that
14:34be it the pull on Buckley shared or indeed the fact he kicked the ball away
14:36it's one of those two
14:38score more but if you go behind
14:40you've got to be brave
14:42another yellow card for Joao Felix this season
14:44who has already served
14:45because Buckingham actually would later go on to be an assistant with
14:48Melbourne victory
14:49and then of course had a
14:51a breaking management with Wellington Phoenix
14:56Mane one of the Al Nasser goal scorers tonight
14:58back on the score sheet for the first time in a couple of months
15:00Joao Felix that would have been
15:02I like this little ball from Mane
15:05clever near post cross
15:07just went for the Cruyff flick there
15:08you know Felix couldn't pull it off
15:21it's an important interception by Pinas
15:24Al Nasser quickly get the throw towards Joao Felix who was briefly all on his own
15:35and they're only half away and then the shot back towards our Shankity's goal
15:41for Maiman Yaya quick as possible
15:45to see when it comes to him
15:47this thing with one touch
15:49try and finish it off
15:51only half a yard wide
15:53it's close
15:56very close
15:57he almost brushed the post didn't it
16:00at that time able to get the pass away to a Somba
16:02Mane might be presented it back
16:04Mane was a little
16:06untidy with the challenge there on
16:08Porta Herrena
16:09yeah he lunged in
16:10I think he'll argue right was a bit untidy
16:17Mane
16:18Mane
16:21Mane
16:25Mane
16:25and it goes off the substitute
16:27Al Abade
16:27I swear there might be a threat
16:29how many times have we seen them in this sort of position
16:31and this is where they put their foot down on the accelerator
16:37Mane
16:37Mane
16:38oh Yaya
16:39and it might have taken a little touch on his way to goal
16:41before our Shankity kept it out
16:43what a save
16:44Mane just
16:46putting a lovely weight across
16:48Yaya just flicking on it might have come off the defender as well
16:51but super safe
16:57definitely did come off
16:58the shout
16:58Kamara decided to deal with it himself
17:01oh Kaibari
17:02Mane it off for Martinez
17:04and on for Yaya
17:11Angelo
17:12Schwab Felix
17:13Ronaldo
17:17and that one will stand
17:23Al Kalud ripped apart
17:26the speed of Al Nasser's play is so impressive
17:31and the man they wanted on the end of it was there
17:36a goal for Cristiano Ronaldo
17:39and a lead
17:40again for Al Nasser
17:44well the heavyweight champion of the world looks on and he approves
17:47it was slick passing
17:49which football
17:50Anjo started the move by playing a great ball into Joao Felix
17:54the way to pass
17:55that one there
17:56take it away from the defenders and Joao Felix
17:59just checked who was to his right-hand side
18:01and then Ronaldo was standing there saying put it on a plate
18:05I ain't missing that one
18:13and the frustration of the night came out of every single poor didn't it
18:17after putting that ball in the net
18:19I think he's saying be smart
18:22I think he's probably meeting the defenders because the top end players like Angelo
18:28Joao Felix and Ronaldo they've got the quality
18:36I didn't think others were allowed to join in the celebration with him I thought it was his and his
18:40alone
18:45there's not to be a soft touch
18:48not to concede three or five goals every game
18:56current one
19:02now Hampton
19:04one more Al Nasser goal and that will probably be the job done for them
19:07Angelo
19:09Joao Felix
19:10great feet from him
19:12and he's still dug out the cross
19:14and Ronaldo finishes it off
19:22well how about that
19:25just as Ronaldo's face appears on the Defoe
19:28on Nasser day
19:31Al Nasser's greatest delivers
19:42Portuguese perfection
19:44Felix to Ronaldo
19:48I'll tell you what
19:49he's still digging spring
19:51because what a bit of skill this is from Joao Felix to get his third
19:55assist in the game
19:56I thought he'd lost it there by doing the reverse trick stand-up cross but look at this
20:01that's the time away from the football pitch when you're in the gym and you're
20:05doing your exercises and you're doing your weights to get that spring above the defender and lick like he's done
20:11for like 20 years
20:15and still have that quality to find the back of the net
20:20it's got so hot and Ronaldo in rhythm now
20:23well one more one more and you know what's coming match ball
20:29Angelo
20:31beautiful touch
20:32Romaro recovered well
20:41actually the third change was but I presume it's Ayman Yahya but
20:45this is Mane and this is a chance for five
20:49and Mane is thwarted for now
20:51but Ronaldo isn't
20:54and it is yet another Saudi Pro League hat-trick
20:58for Al Nasser's number seven
21:04you've got to love it
21:06you've got to love the way he plays the game and his enthusiasm
21:09at his age he's still providing the quality
21:13still churning out the goals and another match ball for the collection
21:23from Cristiano Ronaldo and he starts the move as well
21:27Mane is definitely onside
21:29look at Ronaldo
21:31still trying to sprint in there he still thinks I might get this
21:34there might be an opportunity
21:43well that thousands suddenly looking closer isn't it for Cristiano Ronaldo
21:49it's funny what's a quarter of an hour can do
21:50well that's what he can do that's what the great man can do
21:55in 15 minutes
21:57just bagged his hat-trick
22:01give it to him
22:08Sarwan
22:09has he clattered there
22:10has he played that ball in
22:11he was
22:12an interesting one
22:14I wonder if they'll come back for that
22:19yeah quite rightly he has been sent to the street screen here
22:26that angle's the best one
22:34they had to give the penalty I mean there was absolutely no doubt was there
22:38it's a good one
22:42it's a good one
22:42Dominguez
22:44scores it really nicely
22:46and for a moment at least has silenced Alouane
22:49just away from the goalkeeper hitting the side netting it's always
22:53in the thought process of a pro when you hit the side netting the chances are you're going to score
22:56the three points which keeps their title charge on track
23:01but everyone will be talking about Cristiano Ronaldo
23:05a hat-trick in 15 second half minutes from our Nasser skipper
23:13and three goals that really did swing the game in his team's direction
23:20Al-Kaloud who were plucky and brave and who led do not forget through that early Dominguez goal
23:27as the two front man share some words of encouragement to one another at the end of the night
23:37but now Nasser put the superchargers on with the superman front and center of it all
23:42and have won the game now Nasser 5 Al-Kaloud 3
