00:11That has been the issue that I have put front and centre in my first three months in Downing Street,

00:18But I can't get people's cost of living pressures down until the conflict in the Middle East is resolved, the
00:25conflict in Ukraine started by Russia.
00:29These are the things we have to focus on now, and I hope the world has a moment to do
00:34that.
00:34And certainly in my calls with leaders, that is what I will be asking everybody to do.
00:40Well, I think people want to see the world coming together and focusing on the things that matter to people,
00:46and that's what the voters, in my view, are saying in the United States.
00:49Let's get focused in a laser-like way on those cost of living issues.
00:54And I think around the world there's a recognition that countries can't do that on their own and can't do
01:00that when we have division between nations.
01:03Yes, of course, U.S. voters have made their choice clear.
01:10I hope that the new Congress and the new Senate will continue supporting Ukraine and also putting more pressure on
01:19Russia, that it will happen.
01:21Because then, you know, Europe as well as U.S., we are much stronger together, also passing these messages clearly
01:29to Russia with this pressure that they would stop this war.
01:35So, yes, let's see what happens now, but the elections have results.

03:59Und gleichzeitig werden wir natürlich auch mit den Demokratinnen und Demokraten als den Führern im Repräsentantenhaus und Senat
04:05zu regelmäßigen Gesprächen uns zusammenfinden, weil es darum geht, zu gemeinsamen Linien zu kommen.
04:10Denn am Ende braucht es dann beide.
04:13Aus deutscher Produktion, Kampfpanzer, Fregatten, U-Boote.
04:17Und für die transatlantischen Beziehungen, wenn ich das noch sagen darf, ergeben sich daraus keine unmittelbaren Änderungen.
