00:00:16You are looking live at New York City as we approach the Mecca, the world's most famous
00:00:23arena, Madison Square Garden for the first roll this season, the Raw after Wrestlemania.
00:00:33And what a night it is going to be here on Monday Night Raw.
00:00:37It is March 16th, 316 day, and WWE Hall of Famer, Stone Cold Steve Austin is in the house
00:00:46tonight in the world's most famous arena.
00:00:50And a grudge matchup after proportions on hand, one half of the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions
00:00:56of the Judgment Day, Raquel Rodriguez set to go one-on-one with the nightmare, Rhea Ripley.
00:01:04An Intercontinental Championship matchup that many are highly anticipating, Carmelo Hayes
00:01:09overcoming the Wrestlemania Battle Royal, but can he overcome the champion, the ruler of
00:01:14the Femi, when the Intercontinental title is on the line tonight.
00:01:19And inside of that very ring, we will hear from the Apex Predator, the Viper, Randy Orton,
00:01:25just over a week removed from his monumental victory over the ring, General Gunther, on
00:01:31Wrestlemania Saturday.
00:01:34But we want to take you back to Wrestlemania Sunday.
00:01:37Sunday, eight nights ago, in the main event, it was the Royal Rumble match winner, the best
00:01:43in the world, CM Punk, one-on-one with the undisputed WWE Champion, the American Nightmare,
00:01:50Cody Rhodes.
00:01:51For a week, CM Punk made sure Cody Rhodes understood that he was going to be willing to do whatever
00:01:57it takes to leave Wrestlemania as the undisputed champion.
00:02:02And just what it seemed as if CM Punk had exhausted all options, the shocking re-emergence
00:02:08for the first time in WWE in many, many years.
00:02:11Paul Heyman re-emerging at the top of the stage at Wrestlemania, taking Cody Rhodes' eye
00:02:17off the ball.
00:02:18And CM Punk living true to his words that he was not going to stab Cody Rhodes in the back,
00:02:23he was going to stab him in the front.
00:02:25A third go to sleep, and CM Punk would snag away the undisputed WWE Championship from Cody
00:02:33Rhodes in the main event of Wrestlemania Sunday.
00:02:45And as advertised, kicking things off tonight on the Raw after Wrestlemania,
00:02:53is the brand-new, undisputed WWE Champion.
00:03:03The best in the world, the second City Saint, CM Punk.
00:03:12A little bit of a mixed reaction here in New York City.
00:03:16Many not sure what to think of CM Punk's actions, and the calling upon Paul Heyman eight nights
00:03:22ago at Wrestlemania.
00:03:26But we said it before, we'll say it again.
00:03:29CM Punk made sure that Cody Rhodes understood that he was going to do whatever it takes
00:03:34to leave Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as the undisputed champion.
00:03:38Punk had been chasing down that title since he last held it in December of 2024.
00:03:45Well, a damn near 16-month odyssey coming to an end eight nights ago in Vegas.
00:03:50And one way or another, CM Punk leaving the grandest stage of them all.
00:03:55Once again, the kingpin of this industry as the undisputed champion.
00:04:01Well, he said it eight nights ago at Wrestlemania that we were going to have a lot of questions
00:04:06that needed answers here tonight on the Raw after Wrestlemania, and hopefully we're about
00:04:11to get some from CM Punk himself.
00:04:20Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, hang on here.
00:04:22Cut the cameras to ringside.
00:04:24Cody Rhodes.
00:04:25Cody Rhodes in the ring.
00:04:27Cody Rhodes going after CM Punk.
00:04:31We figure we're about to hear from the new WWE Champion, but obviously Cody Rhodes
00:04:36sped up that CM Punk relied on some outside interference to get the job done at Wrestlemania.
00:04:44Well, these two men, friends for nearly 20 years in this industry.
00:04:48We knew that going into Wrestlemania.
00:04:51Remember, Cody Rhodes said no matter what happened at Wrestlemania, they would still be friends
00:04:56on the other side of the bell.
00:04:57But I think Cody Rhodes underestimated the likes that CM Punk was going to be willing to travel.
00:05:03Well, obviously, Cody Rhodes fired up here in New York City.
00:05:09The CM Punk still at the top of the stage.
00:05:11Well, Punk, you already exit the ring.
00:05:12You might as well make your way through the curtain and bring this anarchy to a halt.
00:05:18Cody Rhodes is here in New York City for one reason or another, and that's to get his hands
00:05:23on CM Punk.
00:05:26Oh, I think we're going to need more than referee Adrian Butler out here.
00:05:30Two combustible elements bound to explode here on the roll at the Wrestlemania.
00:05:37The new WWE Champion, the ex-WWE Champion.
00:05:42Wrestlemania may have only been the beginning.
00:05:47Man, oh, man.
00:05:49Well, obviously, tension's riding high, ladies and gentlemen, as we kick things off tonight
00:05:53on the roll at the Wrestlemania, but it looks like we are about to move on here in New York
00:05:58City as we take you back to the Wrestlemania Saturday kickoff show.
00:06:02That eight-man over-the-top rope, interpromotional battle royal that came down the rolls.
00:06:07Carmelo Hayes, SmackDown's Alistair Black, as well as SmackDown's Shinsuke Nakamura.
00:06:13There you see Nakamura taking care of Alistair, nothing but Ned for Melo, and within a moment's
00:06:18notice, Carmelo Hayes, the victor in that over-the-top rope battle royal on Wrestlemania
00:06:23Saturday.
00:06:25Well, it was, of course, later that night at the Intercontinental Championship from Rawl.
00:06:29Was defended.
00:06:30Penta putting up one hell of a fight against the ruler Obafemi, but Obafemi rising to the
00:06:36occasion in his Wrestlemania debut and sending Penta straight down to the canvas.
00:06:42With a fall from grace, Obafemi retaining the Intercontinental title on the grandest stage
00:06:49of them all.
00:06:52The flying contest is scheduled for one fall, and it's for the WWE Intercontinental Championship!
00:07:14Well, Penta, as much as he showed up and showed out at Wrestlemania, was unable to turn
00:07:20away Obafemi and capture the Intercontinental Championship.
00:07:25Will Carmelo Hayes suffer the same fate, or will Melo grab the gold here at NYC?
00:07:33Carmelo Hayes has been chasing down the barrel of success here on Monday Night Rawl for quite
00:07:38some time.
00:07:38This is a man who the now-retired John Cena said months ago he believed that he's going
00:07:44to have a hell of a year here on Monday Night Rawl.
00:07:47We've seen Melo in the ring with Obafemi before.
00:07:50Oba was the victor.
00:07:52That was several months ago here on the Red Brand.
00:07:54And riding the momentum off that Wrestlemania battle royal victory, will Carmelo Hayes be
00:07:59able to capture the Intercontinental Championship for the very first time here tonight.
00:08:05Certainly a tall hill to climb for Carmelo Hayes.
00:08:09Only time will tell if we will have a new Intercontinental Champion here in the Garden.
00:08:28The atmosphere certainly changes when the ruler enters the room.
00:08:36It was right here in New York City, in the very confines of Madison Square Garden, back
00:08:43at Survivor Series last year, where Obafemi became the Intercontinental Champion.
00:08:50And now the ruler returns to these hallowed halls, with the Intercontinental Championship
00:08:55still around his waist after a huge victory in his Wrestlemania debut.
00:09:01Obafemi looks to turn away the next challenger, looks to turn away Carmelo Hayes, add to his
00:09:06ever-growing list of victims, and continue to grow his young legacy here on Rawl.
00:09:12Obafemi winning the title, as we mentioned, back at Survivor Series here in the Garden against
00:09:17Ludwig Kaiser.
00:09:18Over the last several months, he has retained the gold over Kaiser, Sami Zayn, and Penta as
00:09:23well.
00:09:23Will Carmelo Hayes be next?
00:09:27All remains to be seen here as the chaos between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes kick things off here
00:09:33on Rawl.
00:09:34Now the first bell of the season, on the roll at the Wrestlemania.
00:09:38It's certainly high stakes, high reward.
00:09:42On one of the most important roles of the entire year, the Intercontinental Championship is on the line.
00:09:48Obafemi, Carmelo Hayes, right here, right now.
00:09:59It sounds as if New York City is behind the challenger, as we send things up to Alicia Taylor.
00:10:10Introducing the challenger, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 210 pounds, Carmelo Hayes!
00:10:31And this is a point, from Lagos, Nigeria, weighing in at 310 pounds, the WWE Intercontinental Champion,
00:10:59Obafemi, Obafemi!
00:11:01Well, this is going to be a good one here to get the action rolling on the roll after Wrestlemania.
00:11:06Obafemi making yet another defense of the Intercontinental Championship, back here inside of Madison Square Garden
00:11:12against the challenger, a Carmelo Hayes.
00:11:16Referee Daphne LaShawn wearing the stripes as she hoists the championship high in the sky.
00:11:21It's the Raw after Wrestlemania, the first bell of the season.
00:11:24The gold is on the line, here in New York City!
00:11:30We are underway here.
00:11:31Will Carmelo Hayes be able to overcome this obstacle or roll?
00:11:35Obafemi!
00:11:36Just overcome yet another challenger here tonight.
00:11:41Obafemi, dominant!
00:11:43A powerhouse inside of that ring.
00:11:44And Melo, if he gets the opportunity to, is going to have to rely on his speed and agility tonight.
00:11:51And as we saw at Wrestlemania, even if Melo does so, that doesn't necessarily guarantee him success.
00:11:58We saw Penta flying around the ring from pillar to post back on Wrestlemania Saturday.
00:12:04Empty the tank against Obafemi, and it simply was not enough.
00:12:09Can't imagine Carmelo Hayes has been thinking about this matchup ever since it was signed on.
00:12:14Figured out what he's going to have to do to topple this behemoth here tonight.
00:12:19A nice float over by Melo!
00:12:21There's the quick win to Melo.
00:12:23Float over, spiked DDT, trying to send the ruler for a loop.
00:12:29Carmelo Hayes has been in the ring with some of Roll's best ever since he was traded over the red
00:12:33brand last summer.
00:12:34Can he finally start to put the pieces together and win?
00:12:37Championship gold here tonight!
00:12:40Crossbody, off the top, to win the title, not just yet!
00:12:45Remember Carmelo Hayes pushing Seth Rollins to his limit.
00:12:48Back in January here on Monday Night Raw, he's been in the ring with the unpredictable badass Brock Raker in
00:12:55recent months as well.
00:12:56Melo, a former United States champion of World SmackDown, but can he win the gold tonight on Raw?
00:13:01Ball!
00:13:03Knockin' Obafemi off his feet.
00:13:05Again, it's one thing to take Obafemi off his feet.
00:13:07It's a whole other thing to keep him there.
00:13:10As Carmelo Hayes now looking to use the ropes to his advantage.
00:13:13Big time!
00:13:15Neck breaker after hanging Obafemi in the top rope.
00:13:17But again, Melo gonna go for the lateral press.
00:13:21But only a two count that time.
00:13:24Obafemi, I'm sure, a couple of times at WrestleMania, saw his championship reign flash before his vest.
00:13:31Very eyes, not looking to be in that position again here tonight.
00:13:36Melo doing what he's got to do in these early moments.
00:13:38Pushing the pace, but there's Obafemi looking to neutralize the challenger.
00:13:42Big time spine buster.
00:13:45Dare I say, New York City, although I'm sure a lot of the WWE Universe has a great love and
00:13:50respect for Obafemi.
00:13:51Firmly behind the challenger tonight in Carmelo Hayes.
00:13:57Many of you fans amidst the WWE Universe want to see this young man succeed.
00:14:00We have seen Carmelo Hayes go back to the basics inside of that ring.
00:14:04Get the job done the old-fashioned way.
00:14:07And although there's been a lot of bumps in the road,
00:14:09I think many could see the rise of Carmelo Hayes once again beginning here on Monday Night Raw.
00:14:13And tonight could be a feather in the cap for Melo.
00:14:19Not if this keeps up.
00:14:22Obafemi just ragged on the challenger that time.
00:14:25Here on Monday Night Raw, the Raw after WrestleMania.
00:14:30Melo just backed into a corner now.
00:14:32Not where you want to be, where you got this monster staring you down.
00:14:36Uh-oh, little snake eyes that time.
00:14:39Melo may be seeing stars after that.
00:14:41Whipped off of the far side of the ring.
00:14:43And nearly sent through the roof of the Gordon.
00:14:46Coming, crashing down with an uppercut.
00:14:48My goodness.
00:14:51Into the cover.
00:14:52Goes the intercontinental champion, Carmelo Hayes.
00:14:55Somehow, able to pop the shoulder.
00:14:59Obafemi.
00:15:00Just as much as he is a powerhouse.
00:15:02Just as much as he is dominant in that ring.
00:15:04He better make sure that he realizes that Carmelo Hayes is going to stop at nothing.
00:15:09And that just as Melo is going to have to empty the tank to try to win the title tonight.
00:15:12Oh, but Femi may have to do the same.
00:15:15Double springboard into the crossbody.
00:15:19Melo fighting his way out of the corner.
00:15:22He knows championship opportunities don't come around every day.
00:15:26He's trying to make the most of it.
00:15:28Face first goes Oba.
00:15:31And another kick out.
00:15:33Another near fall.
00:15:35Here in New York City.
00:15:38Carmelo Hayes revving up the engines.
00:15:40Picking out the pace here on Rawl.
00:15:43Wasn't enough to keep the ruler down.
00:15:45But obviously, has got the champion a little bit hurt.
00:15:50Melo Hayes just got to keep his foot on the gas pedal.
00:15:53As much as he can here.
00:15:56Oh, look at this.
00:15:57Obafemi drops down.
00:15:59But wasn't expecting Melo to be right there with the head and scissors takedown.
00:16:04Armelo Hayes now starting to get fired up.
00:16:07One of the pump kick.
00:16:08Nobody home.
00:16:09Femi with a strike.
00:16:10Femi now moves over the challenger.
00:16:15And just when you think Carmelo Hayes was about to turn the tides and momentum in this matchup,
00:16:20there's Obafemi saying,
00:16:21Nuh-uh, not today.
00:16:25Said it before.
00:16:26We'll say it again.
00:16:27Obafemi simply built different inside of that ring.
00:16:32Only getting better as time goes on.
00:16:36Relying on his strength and his power.
00:16:38His size and stature.
00:16:40More and more as you see it on display right there.
00:16:45Obafemi has found success in this building before.
00:16:48Back in Survivor Series last year.
00:16:50Will he do it again to retain the championship?
00:16:54Roisting Melo on the top rope.
00:16:57Melo normally comfortable off the soles of his boots.
00:17:01But not when he's getting manhandled.
00:17:03Military press by Oba.
00:17:08Certainly again, you gotta point out,
00:17:10I'm surprised by the reaction here in New York City.
00:17:14But it's just goes to show you the love and support behind Carmelo.
00:17:18Carmelo Hayes tonight.
00:17:19But that may not be enough.
00:17:23Oh, Carmelo Hayes in the kick.
00:17:26I thought this was all and over.
00:17:29But Carmelo Hayes able to rally.
00:17:34Obafemi, I think, thought this matchup was done.
00:17:36And in the bag.
00:17:38But Carmelo Hayes looking to push past his limits here tonight.
00:17:44There is no living to fight another day when the championship is on the line.
00:17:47It is now or never.
00:17:51Obafemi looking to stop Carmelo Hayes down in his tracks.
00:17:54But Melo starting to fight back here.
00:17:56Throwing everything he's got behind each and every shot.
00:18:01Obafemi may be sent for a loop that time.
00:18:03As Carmelo Hayes now tries to whip them all.
00:18:05Standing switch.
00:18:06Carmelo Hayes going back to the well.
00:18:08With what has worked.
00:18:10He knows Obafemi can't outrun him.
00:18:12Smart decision by Melo.
00:18:15And now a first 48.
00:18:17First 48 by the challenger.
00:18:21Uh-oh.
00:18:22He's not done.
00:18:23Going to the top.
00:18:25Frog Splash.
00:18:30Oh, you've got to be kidding.
00:18:32You have got to be kidding.
00:18:34The first 48.
00:18:36The Frog Splash.
00:18:38All in New York City and many around the world believed that Carmelo Hayes had just won the title.
00:18:46Obafemi able to kick.
00:18:48After the fire.
00:18:50The fury.
00:18:51Coming alive is Carmelo Hayes.
00:18:54Oh, but coming alive is Obafemi.
00:18:57Out of the corner.
00:18:59Shoulder block.
00:19:00Just mowing down the challenger.
00:19:04Oh, I hate to say it, but Carmelo Hayes might have just shown his best hand as Obafemi now.
00:19:10Starting to rise here on Raw.
00:19:12As he just ragdolls Carmelo Hayes.
00:19:14Up and over the top.
00:19:15Roping to the outside.
00:19:18Quite frankly, I don't even know if Obafemi meant to send him to the outside.
00:19:22Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:19:23Wait a minute here.
00:19:24Hold on.
00:19:25That's, that's Omos.
00:19:27What the hell?
00:19:30Omos just hit the ring.
00:19:32And he ambushed Obafemi.
00:19:34Now he sent him over the top rope.
00:19:36What the hell is going on?
00:19:39We haven't seen that man.
00:19:41The Nigerian giant Omos.
00:19:44And over a year here on Monday Night Raw.
00:19:48Well, Omos interrupting this championship matchup.
00:19:52Febby going to retain his title.
00:19:54Be a disqualification.
00:19:55But Omos is all over the ruler right now.
00:20:00Well, certainly not the way you wanted to see this exciting intercontinental championship matchup go down, folks.
00:20:07But Omos playing by his own rules.
00:20:10And now is clearing off the announce table here at ringside.
00:20:15Oh, no.
00:20:16Oh, no.
00:20:16I have never seen Obafemi run over like this.
00:20:21The Nigerian giant Omos is back here on Monday Night Raw.
00:20:26And he has made a beeline for the ruler.
00:20:28Oh, no.
00:20:31The intercontinental champion in trouble.
00:20:34Oh, my God.
00:20:37Shove slam through the table.
00:20:41I have never before seen Obafemi manhandled like this.
00:20:50Obafemi left for dead after the reemergence of the Nigerian giant Omos.

00:22:23but it'll take place inside of the confines of a solid steel cage.
00:22:29Punk Cody for the WWE title tonight!
00:22:36Oh, well, there you see the man who assisted CM Punk and winning the championship eight nights ago,
00:22:42Paul Heyman.

00:23:37And looking down the aisle in the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden!
00:23:48Vermont's Randy Orton found himself engulfed in a war with the Ring General Gunther here on Monday Night Raw.
00:23:57One that Randy Orton promised he would finish his way.
00:24:00One that Randy Orton promised he would finish under the bright lights of WrestleMania.
00:24:06And as Randy Orton walks down here tonight, live and in living color.
00:24:16Oh, New York City!
00:24:19Certainly loud and proud as Randy Orton emerges on the roll after WrestleMania.
00:24:31Well, a hell of an environment here in the Garden as we take you back to WrestleMania Saturday.
00:24:37The Ring General Gunther had put Randy Orton on the shelf back in October in Germany.
00:24:42Orton would return in December, hell-bent on vengeance against Gunther.
00:24:47And Orton finally getting that last Saturday night in Las Vegas.
00:24:52Not only this RKO off the top, driving Gunther through the canvas,
00:24:56but then nearly decapitating the Ring General with a punt kick that'll ultimately award the Viper victory!
00:25:03All right!
00:25:38Oh, yeah, that's great.
00:26:06Oh, wait a minute here, Randy Orton in the middle of the ring, declaring his intentions
00:26:13to go after the WWE Championship, but he's got some unwelcome company, and the Samoan
00:26:21werewolf, Jacob Fatu. Well, I don't know what business Fatu has out here at the given moment,
00:26:30but I gotta imagine this man is in some mood after the bloodline came up short to the Wyatt
00:26:36Six on Wrestlemania Saturday, and who knows what Fatu's feelings are regarding the Wrestlemania
00:26:42Saturday main event, where the OTC Roman Reigns defeated the final boss in The Rock.
00:27:54Oh, well, Jacob Fatou wants a fight, and Randy Orin's not backing down.
00:28:00Well, we got a referee in the ring, ladies and gentlemen,
00:28:03and I think we are on the verge of an impromptu matchup here on the Raw at the WrestleMania.
00:28:09Randy Orin and Jacob Fatou setting their sights on the undisputed title,
00:28:13and their pass may just go for one another.
00:28:18Well, the bell has sounded, ladies and gentlemen.
00:28:20We are underway.
00:28:22Jacob Fatou one-on-one with Randy Orin here in New York.
00:28:27Well, this was not expected, ladies and gentlemen.
00:28:29Randy Orin coming out here to address WrestleMania and, of course,
00:28:32his intentions of challenging for the undisputed championship.
00:28:36Jacob Fatou with some very interesting words regarding his bloodline
00:28:41and regarding his whereabouts here on Monday Night Raw.
00:28:45Well, Fatou looking for a fight.
00:28:47Orin not going to back down.
00:28:48Now the bell has sounded, ladies and gentlemen,
00:28:50and we are underway as the Viper has taken the fight to the Samoan Werewolf.
00:28:57Well, certainly a very interesting contest here on Monday Night Raw.
00:29:01Orin no stranger.
00:29:02Jacob Fatou.
00:29:03These two men and a couple of interactions going back to last summer here on the Red Brand.
00:29:10Jacob Fatou moments ago saying he's done taking orders from everybody.
00:29:15Solo, The Rock, and even called Roman Reigns a broad tribal chief.
00:29:20Well, Fatou, I've got to believe, has been brewing for quite some time.
00:29:25He even had some choice words for The Rock about a month ago here on Raw about taking orders from
00:29:30the bloodline.
00:29:31And, obviously, Jacob Fatou with his words.
00:29:35He really pieced together the picture that he's done listening to everybody.
00:29:39He's done being held back.
00:29:40And this man is ready to go out on his own.
00:29:44Well, Fatou taking the flight to one of the top dogs in this industry in Randy Orton right now on
00:29:49the outside.
00:29:50Now bringing it back inside.
00:29:52Fatou, obviously, we're going to bring the WWE Championship, not necessarily back to his bloodline,
00:29:58because, quite frankly, I don't think he wants anything to do with his bloodline.
00:30:03We're going to win the championship for the very first time on his own.
00:30:07And, hell of a victory over Randy Orton.
00:30:09Certainly put Fatou on the right path to becoming a number one contender, as he mentioned.
00:30:14Oof!
00:30:16Orton taken down to the corner.
00:30:18I think the excitement from this Promptu matchup has started to simmer down here in New York City.
00:30:23And, now, reality is setting in for the Viper that he is in the ring with an unhinged Samoan werewolf
00:30:28and a man who is looking to get his and Jacob Fatou.
00:30:33Of course, both of these men with intentions of challenging for the undisputed title.
00:30:37The same championship that will be on the line later tonight here on Raw.
00:30:41Cody Rhodes invokes his rematch against CM Punk.
00:30:43However, it will take place inside of the confines of a solid steel cage.
00:30:49Certainly, after Paul Heyman made his way out to the stage at WrestleMania,
00:30:52Cody Rhodes looking to put some blinders on, block out the noise, block out any distractions,
00:30:58and make sure there's nowhere to run for CM Punk.
00:31:01Just as Punk ran away from the ring earlier tonight.
00:31:05That is later on here in the Garden.
00:31:08As Randy Orton were going to bring the fight to Fatou, but Jacob Havid, not a minute,
00:31:13a spinning heel kick nearly decapitates the Apex Predator.
00:31:19Orton able to kick out, but at what cost?
00:31:23Jacob Fatou, who one year ago won the Raw after WrestleMania, made his WWE debut.
00:31:30Spent the entirety of the last 12 months taking orders from Solo Sokoa, taking orders from The Rock.
00:31:36Like Fatou stated moments ago, he's done with that, and we really see that brewing as of late on Monday
00:31:41Night Raw
00:31:42in the words and in the actions of Fatou.
00:31:45It's Fatou now just backing it up into the corner.
00:31:50Randy Orton set for a loop, maybe counting sheep.
00:31:54Another cover by Fatou, but it only leads to another kickout by Orton.
00:32:00Jacob Fatou coming off that loss at WrestleMania alongside Solo, Tama, and Lola against the Wyatt Six.
00:32:07Looking for a monumental victory over the Apex Predator here tonight.
00:32:13Add that on top of the fact that Fatou defeated John Cena back in February at the Elimination Chamber.
00:32:19By hook or by crook.
00:32:22Slough and a werewolf looking to build himself an undeniable resume to become the number one contender.
00:32:28Backing up Orton into the corner again.
00:32:30Orton grabbing the boot, however, and Fatou eating the canvas for Monday Night Dinner.
00:32:36You want to take the fight to Randy Orton, you better pick your spots wisely as Randy Orton's always ready
00:32:42to strike at any given moment.
00:32:44And a little Orton fist pressed.
00:32:47Fatou looking up at the lights of the garden as Orton just unloading with closed fist.
00:32:53Orton reminded us of his words from back in December.
00:32:57Saying he was willing to do anything he had to do to remind the WWE Universe, to remind the locker
00:33:03room, just how dangerous he can be.
00:33:05After a punt kicked Ludwig Kaiser a number of weeks ago here on Raw, and did the same to Gunther
00:33:10at WrestleMania, there is no denying how dangerous the Viper can be.
00:33:20Gets on top of that time.
00:33:23Jacob Fatou sent down the canvas on spaghetti legs, and I think Orton is starting to hear some voices here
00:33:30on Raw.
00:33:31Oh, Fatou, you might have picked the wrong fight.
00:33:40DDT by Orton.
00:33:43And all of a sudden, the werewolf has been neutralized.
00:33:49Orton now, looking for victory, on the roll after WrestleMania, not just yet.
00:33:54Jacob Fatou able to kick out, as Randy Orton's starting to take over here in MSG.
00:34:01Well, Fatou standing, switch that time, boot, right to the abdominal of Orton, what a kick, nobody home.
00:34:08Orton with the sidestep, sending Fatou into the far corner.
00:34:13Orton not looking to allow a rally out of Fatou right now.
00:34:19Two very dangerous and unpredictable competitors.
00:34:22Now Jacob Fatou hoisted on the middle rope.
00:34:25What has Orton got in mind?
00:34:26And, oh my goodness!
00:34:28What a neckbreaker by the Viper!
00:34:31You know, you gotta give the devil his due.
00:34:33Jacob Fatou coming out here and picking a fight with Randy Orton.
00:34:37Just a week, well, just a week removed, excuse me, from Orton.
00:34:41Punt kicking Gumpter at WrestleMania.
00:34:43Fatou not backing down from one dangerous individual.
00:34:45But he may be living to regret that decision.
00:34:48Walking down the aisle here tonight.
00:34:51Oh!
00:34:51Maybe not.
00:34:53I guess if anybody in that locker room can match Randy Orton's energy, in terms of unpredictability, in terms of
00:35:00danger, you're looking at him.
00:35:02As Fatou sends Orton to the outside.
00:35:06This impromptu matchup.
00:35:09It's been a pierce-six brawl.
00:35:11As Orton now, on the outside.
00:35:14And we got a flying werewolf here!
00:35:18Jacob Fatou just cut from a different claw.
00:35:23Randy Orton toppled on the outskirts of the squared circle.
00:35:27We were about there earlier on.
00:35:28We're back there now.
00:35:29As Fatou once again, sending Orton right into the barrier.
00:35:33Four!
00:35:34Four!
00:35:35Both these men, no strangers, using their surroundings to their advantage here.
00:35:39And they're looking to do so again as now Orton sent and fought to the barrier.
00:35:45Both these men want the same end goal.
00:35:48Eventually challenging for the WWE title.
00:35:50We're at a count of seven right now.
00:35:53Raw continuing, however.
00:35:55Oh, wait a minute!
00:35:57RKO!
00:35:57Now in NYC.
00:36:02Wait a minute, referee's at a count of nine.
00:36:04Fatigue written all over the body of Ray Orton,
00:36:06and he's unable to make the count.
00:36:11Well, he was half a second too late, ladies and gentlemen.
00:36:15The referee had no choice, but to count these two men out.
00:36:18Yasol Orton struggling to make his way back to the ring
00:36:21after delivering that RKO, and oh, that sucks.
00:36:25Yes, had a hell of a match progressing
00:36:28between Orton and Fatigue here,
00:36:30but unfortunately, left with no choice was the referee,
00:36:34and we got a double count out on our hands
00:36:36here in Madison Square Garden.
00:36:40Oh, wait a minute, hold on here.
00:36:42Oh, a spear by Brock Brinker to Randy Orton.
00:36:50What the hell's Brinker doing out here now?
00:36:55Man, what is going on tonight?
00:36:56That's a good point.
00:37:24oh well the man who of course retired John Cena eight nights ago taking this
00:37:30moment to send a message we got three superstars with an argument to be the
00:37:35next number one contender but first we need to decide who the rightful WWE
00:37:40champion is gonna be CM Punk defends the title against Cody Rhodes later on

00:50:32of a grudge
00:50:33match on hand
00:50:35and this woman
00:50:36has got to be
00:50:37in some mood
00:50:38coming after
00:50:38an unfortunate
00:50:39defeat
00:50:40on a
00:50:41Wrestlemania
00:50:41Sunday
00:51:04we want to
00:51:05take you back
00:51:06to three weeks
00:51:06ago on
00:51:07Monday Night Raw
00:51:07Liv Morgan
00:51:08and Raquel Rodriguez
00:51:09hitting the ring
00:51:10ambushing
00:51:11Lyra Valkyria
00:51:12and Rhea Ripley
00:51:13we started to put
00:51:14the puzzle pieces
00:51:15together
00:51:16we saw Liv
00:51:16chatting it up
00:51:17with Roxanne Perez
00:51:18in the smackdown
00:51:19prior
00:51:19obviously
00:51:20some kind of deal
00:51:22brought about
00:51:23by Liv
00:51:23Raquel
00:51:24and Roxanne
00:51:26those three women
00:51:28having each other's
00:51:28backs
00:51:29certainly surprising
00:51:30knowing the history
00:51:31of Raquel
00:51:32and Roxanne
00:51:32in recent years
00:51:33but nevertheless
00:51:35they laid waste
00:51:36to Rhea
00:51:37and Lyra
00:51:37and Rhea
00:51:38is not looking
00:51:39to let that attack
00:51:40go unanswered
00:51:42there was an unfortunate
00:51:43defeat at Wrestlemania
00:51:45for both Rhea
00:51:46and Lyra Valkyria
00:51:47as Roxanne Perez
00:51:48retained the women's
00:51:49championship
00:51:50in their triple
00:51:51threat matchup
00:51:53Rhea Ripley
00:51:54looking to take out
00:51:55I'm sure some pent up
00:51:56aggression
00:51:57here tonight
00:51:57on Monday Night Raw
00:52:07this woman however
00:52:08walked out of Wrestlemania
00:52:10what happened
00:52:12the new
00:52:12women's tag team
00:52:14champions
00:52:17and her opponent
00:52:19accompanied by
00:52:21Liv Morgan
00:52:22representing
00:52:24the judgment day
00:52:26from Rio
00:52:27Grand Valley
00:52:28Texas
00:52:29one tag
00:52:31of the women's
00:52:33tag team
00:52:34champion
00:52:35Raquel
00:52:37Rodriguez
00:52:40well Raquel Rodriguez
00:52:42joining the ranks
00:52:43for the judgment day
00:52:44in recent months
00:52:45and after a lackluster
00:52:462025
00:52:47it is obviously
00:52:48with a former
00:52:49two-time
00:52:50women's world champion
00:52:51needed
00:52:52to get back
00:52:52on the right track
00:52:53Raquel and Liv Morgan
00:52:56leaving Wrestlemania
00:52:57Saturday
00:52:57with a victory
00:52:58of Rebecca Lynch
00:52:59and Charlotte Flair
00:53:01capturing the WWE
00:53:02women's tag team
00:53:04titles
00:53:06all things
00:53:07looking up
00:53:07for Raquel
00:53:08and company
00:53:09it certainly
00:53:10could be another
00:53:10feather in the cap
00:53:11if she can turn away
00:53:12the nightmare
00:53:13Rhea Ripley
00:53:14here on the Raw
00:53:15after Wrestlemania
00:53:17I'll tell you
00:53:18when you look at
00:53:19the history
00:53:19of the WWE
00:53:20women's division
00:53:21just the last
00:53:21couple of years
00:53:22Rhea has held
00:53:23things down
00:53:23for the majority
00:53:24of time on Raw
00:53:25Raquel has been
00:53:26a pillar over
00:53:27on Smackdown
00:53:28now their pass
00:53:29crossing
00:53:29two powerhouses
00:53:31colliding here
00:53:32on the red brand
00:53:34Rhea coming out
00:53:35like a house of fire
00:53:38Rhea of course
00:53:39not forgetting
00:53:40about that ambush
00:53:40three weeks ago
00:53:41and as we mentioned
00:53:42gotta have some
00:53:43pent up aggression
00:53:44coming after that
00:53:45loss at Wrestlemania
00:53:47of course
00:53:48Lyra Valkyria
00:53:48was the one pinned
00:53:49on Wrestlemania Sunday
00:53:50but either way
00:53:51you spin it
00:53:52it was Roxanne Perez
00:53:53who left the triple threat
00:53:54still
00:53:54the WWE women's champion
00:53:57Rhea looking to get
00:53:58back on the right track
00:53:59with a victory
00:54:00over one half
00:54:00of the tag team
00:54:01champions tonight
00:54:02in Raquel
00:54:03and certainly
00:54:04not many women
00:54:05gonna be able
00:54:06to put Raquel
00:54:07in predicaments
00:54:08like that
00:54:08but Rhea Ripley
00:54:09one of the very few
00:54:10that is gonna be able
00:54:11to match Raquel's
00:54:12energy
00:54:12and certainly
00:54:13meet her head on
00:54:14in terms of power
00:54:17nobody home that time
00:54:18off the drop kick
00:54:20Rhea Ripley
00:54:21I'm sure
00:54:21gonna be feel
00:54:22a little bit
00:54:22aggressive tonight
00:54:23she cannot allow
00:54:24herself to see red
00:54:25and make mistakes
00:54:27like that
00:54:27if she does so
00:54:28it's gonna be
00:54:28a long night
00:54:29for Rhea
00:54:30as Raquel
00:54:31may have
00:54:31more opportunities
00:54:32to capitalize
00:54:35Raquel Rodriguez
00:54:36but the better part
00:54:37of 2025
00:54:38trying to get back
00:54:38the women's world title
00:54:39failed on numerous
00:54:40occasions
00:54:41to Io Sky
00:54:442026
00:54:45has written a different
00:54:45story for both
00:54:46Raquel and Liv Morgan
00:54:48coming together
00:54:49last year
00:54:49on Smackdown
00:54:50starting to take
00:54:51the tag team division
00:54:52by force
00:54:53getting the championship
00:54:54opportunity
00:54:54they were chasing
00:54:55for months
00:54:56at Wrestlemania
00:54:57and their first shot
00:54:58made the most of it
00:55:01when we talk about
00:55:02that
00:55:02a partnership
00:55:03if you will
00:55:04between Raquel
00:55:04Liv and
00:55:05the women's champion
00:55:06Roxanne Perez
00:55:07really goes back to
00:55:08over a month ago
00:55:09here on Raw
00:55:11Roxanne Perez
00:55:12kind of assisted
00:55:13Liv Morgan
00:55:14in qualifying
00:55:15for the elimination
00:55:16chamber
00:55:16in a qualifier
00:55:17matchup against
00:55:18Lyra Valkyria
00:55:19Perez obviously
00:55:20was looking to
00:55:20avoid Lyra
00:55:21being in said contest
00:55:25I think Roxanne
00:55:26got Liv and
00:55:27Raquel to
00:55:27owe her a favor
00:55:29back if you will
00:55:30with that ambush
00:55:31a number of weeks
00:55:32to go on
00:55:32Roxanne's
00:55:33Wrestlemania
00:55:34adversaries
00:55:35and obviously
00:55:36Rhea Ripley's
00:55:38mind
00:55:38split between
00:55:39three different
00:55:40individuals
00:55:40may not have
00:55:42been solely
00:55:42focused on the
00:55:43task at hand
00:55:44at Wrestlemania
00:55:45knowing she still
00:55:45had a bone to
00:55:46pick
00:55:46with Raquel
00:55:47and Liv
00:55:49one can only
00:55:50assume
00:55:50and again I
00:55:51mentioned it
00:55:52earlier but I'm
00:55:52a little bit
00:55:53surprised
00:55:53that Raquel
00:55:54and Roxanne
00:55:55have been able
00:55:56to work together
00:55:56against some of
00:55:57these adversaries
00:55:58as of late
00:55:58given their
00:55:58history
00:56:00those two
00:56:00women were
00:56:01once friends
00:56:02on Smackdown
00:56:02split apart
00:56:03as Roxanne Perez
00:56:04was chasing the
00:56:05women's world
00:56:06championship
00:56:06going back to
00:56:07the summer
00:56:07of 2024
00:56:10had several
00:56:10battles in the
00:56:11back half of
00:56:12that year
00:56:13obviously Liv
00:56:14Morgan
00:56:15has to help
00:56:15mend some
00:56:15fences between
00:56:16Raquel
00:56:17and Roxanne
00:56:18as of late
00:56:18at least
00:56:19long enough
00:56:20for them to
00:56:21aid each
00:56:22other
00:56:24either way
00:56:25here
00:56:25Roxanne Perez
00:56:26not out here
00:56:27right now
00:56:28nor is Liv
00:56:28Morgan
00:56:29it's all about
00:56:29Raquel
00:56:30and Rhea
00:56:30and the X
00:56:31Factor
00:56:31at ringside
00:56:32that's the
00:56:32other half
00:56:32of the
00:56:33women's tag
00:56:33team champions
00:56:34and Liv
00:56:35Morgan
00:56:37Rhea
00:56:38Ripley
00:56:38fighting back
00:56:39just putting
00:56:39her own
00:56:40body in
00:56:40harm's
00:56:41way
00:56:41off that
00:56:41headbutt
00:56:43enough to
00:56:44knock Raquel
00:56:44off her feet
00:56:45now Raquel
00:56:45back to her
00:56:46feet
00:56:46tilt to
00:56:47world slam
00:56:47and how
00:56:48many women
00:56:48are going to be
00:56:49able to hoist
00:56:50Raquel off her
00:56:50feet like that
00:56:51big time
00:56:52maneuver by Rhea
00:56:53as she just
00:56:53pounds away
00:56:54on what half
00:56:55of the tag team
00:56:56champions
00:56:59keep your eye
00:57:00on Liv
00:57:00Morgan
00:57:00at ringside
00:57:01see referee
00:57:01Rod Zapata
00:57:02trying to
00:57:03fix up
00:57:04the ring
00:57:04there
00:57:04obviously
00:57:05the actions
00:57:06of one
00:57:07Liv Morgan
00:57:07as Raquel
00:57:08sidesteps
