quiet post on God of Ruin, and the detail I keep noticing is her eyes, not her silence.
She is quiet, so people assume she misses things. She does not. Every scene she arrives, she reads the room first: who is standing where, who is watching whom, where the door is.
Four years of not speaking much will do that to a person. She has learned to gather everything and say nothing, and the show lets you see her doing it before anyone else does.
The reason this matters is that the whole plot assumes she is passive. She is not passive. She is just not telling.
✨ What worked for me:
- She looks at exits before faces. Every room.
- She notices Landon's attention before he offers it.
✨ Bottom line: everyone mistakes quiet for absent.
What would you have noticed first?
