Some vehicle fires burn so intensely that little is left behind once the flames finally die down. Taylor shared footage of a work van engulfed in a fierce fire on a residential street, with flames continuing to consume the vehicle as thick smoke rises into the air. Taylor had just returned from work when the fire caught their attention. “I was pulling into my street after work when I saw flames, smoke, and police officers. I quickly parked and realized that my neighbor’s work van was on fire. Apparently, it was a hybrid vehicle, which may have contributed to the intensity of the fire. The police and firefighters had a very difficult time putting it out. The tires popped and banged in the extreme heat, and even a year later, melted pieces of the van can still be seen stuck to the street and sidewalk,” Taylor told WooGlobe. The fire continues to rage through the van until the vehicle is almost entirely destroyed, leaving behind a scene that would have been difficult to imagine from an ordinary drive home.
