Could the Bills use Max Hairston as a trade piece?
Transcript
00:00There's more options than people think in that secondary right now.
00:02And obviously, maybe people don't like the options,
00:05but they have more options than you think.
00:07And then I'm thinking long-term, though,
00:10about what does it look like past Tuesday?
00:13You know, like, are they going to go out and get somebody?
00:16And, you know, Brandon Bean saying that being aggressive
00:19and it looks like defense, and I don't doubt that.
00:23I said in the pod this week, I'll read it right here,
00:26but I'm more open to them trading for somebody up front than I had been.
00:32Early in the season, I'm like, no, you don't need that.
00:33You need somebody in the secondary.
00:35I mean, the numbers, the pass rush numbers aren't as good as they were.
00:39You can maybe help that secondary out by getting somebody.
00:42I wouldn't be surprised if that's more the area they want to target.
00:46And then, honestly, guys, like, this doesn't have to be on Tuesday or this week,
00:50but if you're moving on from starting Max Hairston,
00:54who was just your first-round pick, like,
00:57where is his spot on the roster going forward?
01:00That's interesting.
01:01I like him as a trait.
01:02Like, for the right guy, I would do a one-for-one with him.
01:08Yeah, I thought about that.
01:10Before it gets to the point where, you know.
01:13Elam.
01:13Yeah, right.
01:14His value is really dinged.
01:16It's already, I mean, he's lost his starting job to a rookie,
01:19so, you know, he's already dinged.
01:21But I think if you get out from under it, the sooner the better.
01:25If that's going to be the end game.
