00:00My question is from your book, Truth Without Apology.
00:05In chapter 56, you mentioned about sacred selfishness.
00:10What does it mean?
00:11That's there in the chapter.
00:13Sir, what does the title of the chapter mean?
00:20Read the chapter.
00:24Sacred selfishness means being conscious of your true needs.
00:32When somebody takes care of their needs, right?
00:37You often say they are selfish.
00:41Spirituality then is the art of true selfishness.
00:45Because here you are taking care of your true needs.
00:49So, being truly selfish is wonderful.
00:53If selfishness means taking care of yourself,
00:58taking care of your desires, fulfilling your desires,
01:02then true selfishness means taking care of your deepest desire.
01:07And deepest desire is for liberation.
01:10So, that's why I am calling such selfishness as sacred.
01:14Okay?
01:15Thank you, Ajaj.
01:17But do read the chapter.
01:18Yes.
01:20Thank you, Ajaj.
01:21Thank you, Ajaj.
01:21Thank you, Ajaj.
01:21Thank you, Ajaj.
