Asher, a short-lived snake demon, wears fake dragon horns and infiltrates the Dragon Clan Academy to survive past the age of twenty-two. He tricks Kyle, the Dragon Prince, into bonding with him for life and even conceives his dragon egg. However, he soon discovers that Kyle already has a fiancé chosen by the Dragon Council, and that Kyle has openly stated his hatred for snakes.
