TV host Lena caught her boyfriend Julian cheating with an intern and walked away. Julian, smug in the belief that the orphaned girl couldn't survive without him, waited for her to crawl back. Instead, Lena fell into the arms of Damian — New York's most powerful mafia boss. Damian pretended revenge was his motive, but the truth ran deeper: thirteen years ago, after a shipwreck, a young Lena saved a wounded boy at Red Hook Pier and told him, "Be a good man." Those words reshaped his life.
