King Charles III has led the nation in commemorating those who died in conflict at the annual Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in Whitehall. Members of the Royal Family, politicians, military personnel and veterans gathered for the ceremony, which included a two-minute silence and the laying of wreaths in tribute to Britain's war dead and those who have served in the armed forces.
