When I started riding in 1986 this was going to be the very first trick that I learned how to do. I was never able to do it when I was younger. When I got back into riding at the age of 36 I decided I was going to complete what I started in 1986 and learn how to do a Decade. With much aggravation and a few hard falls I was finally able to complete it for the first time November 24, 2005. It was Thanksgiving day and Jim Mckay came over my home for Thanksgiving Dinner and Flatland Session. I was going to give up but he kept pushing me to keep trying because I was so close. There are many failed attempts on the tape but the very first one is there for you to enjoy. I have thought about it often and wonder what if I had given up? It now 2008 and I can do the decade 5 out of 10 times. This was a very special moment in my life and I am happy to share it with everyone that cares to watch and enjoy with me. Reach a goal after such a very long time of trying is tremendous! It just proves that your never to old. You should never give up. You can reach any goal that you want if you try hard enough.
