Italian fashion duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana presented the last show of their D&G line in Milan at the womenswear summer 2012 week.
The designers announced are ending the youthful D&G brand they created almost 20 years ago, incorporating it into their core Dolce & Gabbana business
The collection continued the search for iconic themes seen at their previous shows with a distinctly fruity flavour on the catwalk.
Silk foulard was the fabric of choice inorporated into dresses, shirts, pants, skirts and accessories.
Golden coins adorned foulard bags worn around the waist and oversized straw and raffia hats added a beach glamour to the fresh collection.
Wedges returned on the catwalk entirely made of foulard for a colourful summer season.
