The seaside resort of Blackpool has been entertaining British tourists for decades. Now, it could be at the centre of an entirely different industry. The energy firm Cuadrilla Resources says there could be as much as 200 trillion cubic feet (5.6 trillion cubic metres) of natural gas contained in shale rock deep below ground in the surrounding area.
