Gone but not forgotten - a dress worn by the late Amy Winehouse is up for auction in London.
Loaned to the star for the cover of her Grammy award-winning record Back to Black, the short dress is expected to sell for around 20,000 pounds (31,000 USD).
Surrounded by gowns owned by other female icons, including Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn - Amy's dress looks in a world of it's own:
SOUNDBITE: Kerry Taylor, saying (English):
"You know we have these ladies: we have the beautiful, serene Audrey Hepburn, the fabulous Elizabeth Taylor, the beautiful and kind Diana. And we have this young, raw talent, Amy Winehouse, who left us too soon. And it's quite poignant seeing her sweet little dress next to some of these very glamourous numbers."
Auction house owner Kerry Taylor was joined by Amy's father Mitch Winehouse.
Proud of his daughter's achievements, he was pleased her dress is part of the auction:
SOUNDBITE: Mitch Winehouse, saying (English):
"Well you know Audrey Hepburn was also quite young when she died of cancer, and Princess Diana was an accident, and Amy was an accident as well. But it's ironic that all these dresses are here for some of the most beautiful women of the 20th and 21st Century. So it's a testimony to them as well for, you know, the enduring love for Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana and for Amy. So it's an honour to be here amongst those dresses."
Money from the sale of Amy's piece will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, a charity set up in the singer's memory to support vulnerable young people across the globe.
