Supporters of a Palestinian prisoner on hunger strike joined his protest by also refusing food on Wednesday.
Demonstrations were held throughout the Palestinian territories in solidarity with Khader Adnan, who Israel arrested as a terrorist in December.
Adnan is on his 60th day without food and is described as being in a critical condition.
