Several hundred supporters of Syria's President Assad tried to force their way into a hotel where Western and Arab leaders gathered for a 'Friends of Syria' meeting on the country's bloody uprising.
The conference in Tunis was without representatives from Syria's allies China and Russia, who have already vetoed two United Nations Security Council resolutions aimed at ending the killing.
