A French satirical weekly has accused Swedish furniture giant Ikea of paying for illegal access to police files on employees and clients.
Le Canard Enchainé said Ikea used a private security firm to obtain the information illegally.
A spokesman for Ikea France vowed to investigate the charges, but declined to confirm or deny the allegations.
