The British designer created an atmosphere fit for the Abominable Snowman at his Paris Fashion Week show.
Models dressed in fur looked like yetis in Pugh's trademark colours - black and grey.
Coats, skirts, head gear and even cuffs were covered in fur, mixed with leather.
Pointy shoulders and last season's muzzle gave some models an almost sado-masochistic look.
Pugh joins a long line of British designers who present fashion as theatre and has often been criticised for a lack of commerciality to his clothes.
But this latest collection has been praised for its wearability by fashion critics.
Paris Fashion Week ends March 7 and shows still to come include Stella McCartney, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.
